The Yarkon River, which flows between the "Sheva Tahanot" passage and the Ayalon Bridge, cuts through the city of Tel Aviv and the city of Ramat Gan. Each side of the park has a different atmosphere. One is vibrant, full of life and activity, while the other is calm, intimate, peaceful, and natural. The common element between the two cities is the wildlife that resides in the park.
With the "Floating Islands," we can create pathways between city and city, between tranquility and hustle, between nature and industry, between air and atmosphere. The "Floating Islands" are modularly designed, each island can function as a private, small, and intimate space or connect to another island and serve as a public and larger area. The islands will provide shade, seating areas, hiding spots, and habitats for fish and birds, as well as space for plant cultivation.
The "Floating Islands" are made from natural, recycled, and organic materials, allowing room for nature, animals, and humans alike. Their purpose is to create accessibility for park users and, at the same time, establish a connection between humans and nature.
