We're all about the adventure, and our team at 101 Adventures is committed to sending you home with a huge grin, a surge of endorphins, and a head full of fantastic memories from exploring our beautiful backyard.
The 2024 Ride is going to take place in the beautiful South Island. We have three epic days of riding planned and will start in Blenheim an Invercargill. Riders will explore back country roads, high country stations, iconic adventure tracks, Southern Alps, crystal clear lakes and rivers while experiencing some of the most breath-taking views!
The ride will also have overnight stops at Hanmer Springs, Fairlie and Wanaka. Riders will get to experience adventure riding at its best as we have access to explore lots of secluded property.

RIDE TO BURT MUNRO
The Yamaha Adventure Ride 2024 is tailored to suit all levels of adventure riders, from beginners to adventure pros and we want to make sure everyone’s needs are met. There will be two route options available each day, including the main route and then for those riders who are up for the challenge we will have some difficult breakout routes, where you can really experience the adventure and challenge yourself.
Our lead riders will be on the road early to check the routes are clear and there are no hazards that riders need to be aware of. Our sweep riders will then follow at the back of the ride and will be there to assist riders, if they require any support. GPS files will be given to riders the night before at dinner so they can load them onto their GPS overnight.
Riders can depart from 8am daily and are free to go about the course at their own pace. Special spots will be loaded onto the maps, where riders can take a moment to enjoy the scenery or stop for a cuppa and a bite to eat.

If you choose you can stay on an extra few days in Invercargill for the iconic Burt Munro event. We have organized a venue that will allow riders to bunk down camping style. The venue has bedding and bathroom facilities. There must be a minimum of 30 riders committed for this to go ahead.
A bit about the event...Starting with the Bluff Hill Climb, tensions are high. The smell of the exhaust, the scream of the engines, the heat of the machines as they rush past. Spectators cheer riders on as they wrench and weave their way to the summit. Most make it. Later on that day, marvel at the sight of twilight drag racers streaking down the Teretonga Park straight at speeds in excess of 250kph.
Stepping on to Oreti Beach’s long emptiness, where Burt once opened the throttle, is a raw and awe inspiring experience. There’s something otherworldly watching dirt bikes tear up and down the mile-long circuit from your sand-dune grandstand possie, as oystercatchers split open tuatua shells on the low-tide mark.
And for some, it's the rally which is the highlight of their trip south. With live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the Burt Munro Challenge is as much about people as it is about bikes!
You’ll never feel closer to a legend. The Burt Munro Challenge is calling you.
