Simon Lee is studying for a Master of Music degree in choral conducting with Marguerite L. Brooks, Jeffrey Douma, and David Hill at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and Yale School of Music. In 2009, he moved to Durham to take up the post of tenor lay clerk at the cathedral and completed a postgraduate certificate in education with Qualified Teaching Status. Alongside his duties with the cathedral choir, Lee delivered the cathedral’s music outreach program in schools across the northeast of England as well as pursued an active career as tenor soloist and conductor. He directed Cappella Novocastriensis, a choir based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and the Durham Cathedral Young Singers. Danielle Storey Carson is a native of Northford, CT.
