Zabyt tak skoro
To Forget So Soon
To forget so soon, my God, All the happiness we had together! When we met, when we talked. To forget so soon, so soon! To forget the thrill of those first days, Those meetings in the shade! Silent words in our eyes! To forget so soon, so soon! To forget how the full moon gazed upon us through the window, The curtains softly swaying ... To forget so soon! To forget so soon, so soon! To forget our love, our dreams, our vows! Do you remember? Do you remember? Do you remember? What once we whispered, in the dark of night. To forget so soon! So soon! My God!

“Ha! Dzieciątko nam umiera”
“Ah! Our Child is Dying”
Ha! Dzieciątko nam umiera, Z głodu umiera. A matka tu, a ojciec tam! Dziecię wyciąga rączęta I miłosiernie spoziera. A matka tu, a ojciec tam! Ha! I ptak drapieżny swe pisklęta Karmi, otula i lula, A moje dziecię umiera! O mój maleńki! Któż do trumienki ubierze cię, powije cię? Kto ukołysze na wieczny sen? A serce gdzie? Hej! Jaśku, gdzie? A łzy te moje, te krwawe łzy? Ja zemszczę się! Podpalę Jaśka! Bo matka ja – i żona twa! Ja serce twoje wydrę ci! Za krzywdę moją spalę cię! Hej Jaśku, panie czy ty słyszysz mnie?!
Ah! Our child is dying, Dying of hunger. And his mother is here, and his father there! The child is raising his little hands And stares pitifully. And his mother is here, and his father there! Ah! Even the raptor feeds, Covers and rocks its little young. But my child is dying! Oh my little one! Who will dress you and put you in a coffin? Who will rock you to eternal sleep? But where is your heart? Ah! Where is Jaśku? And my tears, those bloody tears? I will revenge! I will burn you! Because I am a mother – and your wife! I will rip your heart out! I will burn you for your crime! Ah Jaśku, great sir, do you hear me?!
