Design Document GAME OVERVIEW Working project title Hour Zero
Target Audience The ages for the target audience would be between 18 and 35, and the reason for this would be because the game will include blood and signs of violence in an imaginative way. The type of games that would play this game would be players that enjoy solo games involving mystery and investigating the clues around the map that’ll eventually tell the player the story of the game.
Features/USPs This game will be the beginner of the story that’ll be developed in different maps that’ll come in the future which will then give birth to a different game involving those same environments but with more functionality, therefore this project will be like an interactive movie.
ORIGINAL GAME DESIGN Game Concept I took inspiration from games like Friday the 13th, as I liked where that game was set and the atmosphere of its level design. I also took inspiration from the game Outlast, as I wanted my game to tell a story through the notes that the player would find around the map and also how Outlast uses a camera to record the events.
