Serviced space Includes: Panels - black velcro receptive walls 2.3m high Charcoal Carpet tiles Allocation of lights according to your contract Allocation of power according to your contract

Unserviced Space: Large Design and Build stands Includes: Charcoal Carpet tiles only

Walk-on Packages Includes: Panels - black velcro receptive walls 2.3m high Charcoal Carpet floor tiles Allocation of lights according to your contact Allocation of power according to your contract Furniture package as specified in your contract Company name sign PLI (Public Liability Insurance) XPO Leads App

3.2 Floor Plan The floor plan may change between the time of your booking and the staging of the event. The latest floor plan can be obtained by contacting the Operations Team. Make sure you give the most updated plans to your contractors.

10

3. YOUR EXHIBITION STAND

3.3 Internal Measurement Due to the thickness of the panels (45mm approx) and the nature of how the stands are built, dimensions are not always exactly what they are in your contract. If you are designing signage to fit wall dimensions, please email the Operations Team.

3.4 Panels Panels are covered with black velcro-receptive material and are 2.3m high. Velcro is the best way to attach items – you will only need the hook (rough) side. Velcro hook and loop will be available for purchase from the Show Information desk ($5 per meter, $3.5 per ½ meter). Thumbtacks are also acceptable but must be removed at the end of the event. Nails, screws, painting or permanent marking of the panels is not permitted. Drilling into the floor is not permited. Any damage may be charged to the exhibitor. Panels are not to be altered or moved without consulting Exhibition Hire Services or Operations Manager. Avoid exerting excessive pressure on the panels to prevent them from leaning and posing a safety risk. If you need additional panels for storage or other purposes, please arrange this directly with Exhibiton Hire Services. See page 15 for the order form.

3.5 Carpet 1m x 1m square charcoal carpet tiles will be provided unless requested otherwise. If you are laying a special floor, it will need to be laid on top of the carpet tiles. When fixing carpet or floor coverings to the carpet, please use clear double-sided tape as it is very easy to remove. See page 15 for the order form. If you wish to remove carpet tiles there will be a cost of $2.50 per tile. EHS can also provide alternative floor coverings such as roll carpet in a variety of colours. For more information, please use the contact details in the Key Supplier Details on page 15.

11

3. YOUR EXHIBITION STAND 3.6 Power and Lighting Power and lighting allocations vary depending on your stand type and booking. Please refer to your exhibition contract to confirm what is included. Additional power and lighting can be ordered directly through Show Light & Power. See Page 15. Important If you are operating machinery or other high-powered equipment, ensure you have ordered sufficient power for your stand. If you are unsure how much power you require, please contact Show Light & Power before the event.

3.7 Aisles Keep all displays, furniture and products within your contracted stand boundaries. Keep aisles clear at all times. Exits and emergency equipment (including power boxes on the walls above stands) must not be obstructed. During pack in and pack out please ensure aisles are left clear of all debris to allow forklifts, emergency vehicles and other contractor vehicles a clear passage. For the safety of exhibitors, contractors and visitors: Do not place furniture, displays or promotional material in the aisles. Keep emergency exits, fire equipment and wall-mounted power boxes unobstructed at all times. During pack-in and pack-out, remove packaging and waste promptly to maintain safe access for forklifts and emergency vehicles. Failure to keep aisles clear may result in the organiser requesting that items be removed immediately.

12

4.STAND DESIGN To make the most of your experience and trade at the show, we suggest creating a visually appealing and welcoming stand for visitors. If you are planning a custom-built stand, this section outlines the design requirements, approval process and important regulations to help ensure a safe and successful build. If you are unsure whether your stand design requires approval, please contact the Operations Manager before proceeding.

4.1 Design & Build A Design & Build stand is any stand that is custom designed or constructed by a stand builder or contractor. Stand plans must be submitted to Operations Manager before beginning construction, and no later than Friday 9th October. Early submission is recommended to allow time for any required changes. For recommendations on suppliers see page 16. The submission must include: Overall stand dimensions Front, side and rear elevations Height of all structures Hanging signage Storage areas Machinery or vehicles (if applicable)

4.2 Signage & Graphics Well-designed signage helps visitors identify your business and increases your stand's visibility within the exhibition. If you require assistance with printed graphics or signage, refer to our recommended suppliers on Pages 17.

4.3 Lighting Lighting is one of the most effective ways to improve the appearance of your stand and attract visitors. Additional Lighting can be ordered through Show Light & Power. See page 15.

13

4. STAND DESIGN 4.4 Height & Stand Structure The standard exhibition wall height is 2.3 metres. If any part of your stand exceeds this height, approval from Operations Manager is required before construction can proceed. Where approval has not been obtained prior to the event, XPO Exhibitions reserves the right to request modifications to ensure the stand complies with event requirements.

4.5 Engineering Certification For any metal or steel structures over 2.0m high (including racking), you must provide an engineer's certificate along with your stand design for approval. Please email these documents to the operations manager tereza@xpo.co.nz and to Tasman Risk Co, paul@swaleandsons.com . Your structure must also be inspected and signed off on-site after it has been built by our safety contractor, Tasman Risk Co. Tasman Risk Co will contact you to provide a quotation and arrange the on-site inspection and sign-off. Tasman Risk Co, Paul Swale - 0211977784, paul@swaleandsons.com

4.6 Materials, Fabric and Ceiling Canopies All materials used within your stand must comply with New Zealand fire safety requirements. Flammable materials are not permitted on site unless they’re fireproofed. Fabrics needing fireproofing include cottons, straw, hay, polystyrene, and crepe paper. Ceilings or canopies must be flame-proof (provide documentation), be supported safely, be fitted with a smoke alarm and have a valid fire extinguisher. Approval from the Operations Manager is required.

4.7 Hanging Banners Hanging banners and suspended signage must be installed by the official rigging contractor. Please contact Show Light & Power for pricing and booking. Rigging costs vary depending on stand position, size & weight of signage and the exhibition hall and installation height. Requirements Hanging signage must remain entirely within your contracted stand boundaries. Signage must be positioned at least 1 metre inside your stand perimeter. A minimum clearance of 3 metres must be maintained above the highest point of your stand. Approval from the Operations Manager is required before installation. For supplier details, refer to Page 15.
