MISSION At The Gift Shop, our mission is to relay the traditional and modern culture of Abu Dhabi through quality reproduction and replication

OUR STORY Years of dedication to art and culture, Etihad Modern Art Gallery and Art House Cafe were established in Abu Dhabi. Working with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, the Etihad Modern Art Gallery Gift Shop started on 2015. Catering to tourists, this shop started with affordable souvenirs and brass items. As the tourism industry grows, the variety of products available at the shop also grew. Adding educational materials about Abu Dhabi and the mosque itself, exclusive prints, Islamic items such as famous and prayer beads, to Arabic sweets such as camel milk chocolates and dates covered in chocolate, the shop itself keeps on expanding on its product range to enhance the experience of the visitors. Moreover, we also started providing bespoke corporate gifts such as bronze sculptures, jewelries, apparels and crystals. Moving forward, we are ready to become the ambassadors of Abu Dhabi in every gift shop that we will open.

THE IN-STORE EXPERIENCE The store itself is a cultural spot and a story-teller of Abu Dhabi. Starting from postcards, to prayer beads, to perfumes, to gold and silver plated souvenirs, to 14karat golden Kaaba keys that shows different sides of the Islamic and Khaleeji life.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Emirates Red Crescent

Our team at Etihad Modern Art Gallery has been commissioned to design, develop, and manage the Emirates Red Crescent Merchandise. Proceeds from sale of merchandise goes back to help Emirates Red Crescent in their relief activities. The Red Crescent in Abu Dhabi works to support the official authorities in peacetime and wartime, in accordance with the provisions of Article (26) of the First Geneva Convention of 1949.

In Peacetime: Organizing awareness programs, first aid, protection and control the epidemics, take attention to the social issues and providing various humanitarian assistance for vulnerable, needy people and victims of accidents and disasters.

In Wartime: Transferring and treating the wounded and assist prisoners in the scope of the Geneva Conventions. Provide first aid and relief to the victims. Protection of civilians and sheltering the displaced and homeless. Search for missing persons’ and reunion the separated families.

Etihad Modern Art Gallery is supporting causes for women empowerment as well as preservation of traditional crafts.

With this purpose, we are supporting Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts, the most comprehensive organization in the UAE to empower underprivileged women through sustainable crafts.
