Contributors PEDRO ARIETA was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Arieta studied photography at the Brazilian Academy of Arts (ABRA) and The Panamerican School of Arts (EPA), before moving to New York City to attend the BFA program at the School of Visual Arts. For the past 10 years Arieta has been working on a project on Dahab, which is a small town in the South Sinai, Egypt. Other than shooting, he’s worked on the production side of the business. jason obrotka is a New York City based fashion and portrait photographer, specializing in rock stars, from recently being the official photographer for a major world tour, to his fourth-coming rock photography book Before I Hit the Stage: Backstage Rock ’n’ Roll moments in NYC 2013. Combined with his deep experience shooting models, this enables him to create visually stimulating and artistic photographs that beautifully capture a rock ’n’ roll lifestyle in cool and unique ways. D “ IANA SCHEUNEMANN is a Swiss/German photographer who currently lives in New York City. Her unique vision keeps her in demand for advertising and editorial campaigns, and has led her to be commissioned by celebrities across the world. In 2013 she made the transition to moving pictures with Love American Skin, a book and a featurelength documentary art film. GIUSEPPE DANTE SAPIENZA is a Melbourne, Australia based photographer and artist who is keeping busy by shooting model portfolios and fashion. His style has always gravitated towards an edgier and bolder look, which has complemented his extensive work with local, tattooed models Down Under. His personal work is very story-driven, and away from the shutter he is often crossing creative fields, working on films, graphic novels, and fine art paintings. IAN MADDOX is a photographer whose work reflects the colorful, crazy, spontaneous energy he finds around him. He lives in the hills of Los Angeles with his wife, Lauren, and their increasingly manic whippet, Oizo. Being a goofball, he believes, is what put his subjects at ease. Maddox’s work has appeared in various magazines such as Details, Ladies Home Journal, and Fitness. JENNIFER ERICKSON is a Los Angeles based photographer splitting her time between photographing beautiful, alternative girls and the commercial fashion industry.
