The base is located in Garibong-dong, Guro district, Seoul, South Korea. It is close to the emerging digital industrial park and the main road of the city. Garibong-dong has obvious feature of its location, with convenient transportation nearby. In the 1990s, due to the restriction of redevelopment conditions, the Chinese concentrated area centered on Garibong-dong had imperfect infrastructure construction and poor environment. As a result of demographic and cultural changes, development problems such as cultural barriers and unbalanced community vitality had emerged.

Based on the "shared home" design, culture-oriented urban renewal is carried out. From the perspective of local Chinese and Korean residents, the long-term accumulated social relations and the needs of specific groups are paid attention to, and the future virtual technology is used to realize spatial reconstruction and compound, forming a multicultural space balance under the background of China-South Korea friendship. The design of this project attempts to explore and solve the problem of estrangement of residents from different countries living in the same area, so as to achieve a more just, inclusive and sustainable urban regeneration.

With the acceleration of urbanisation, the shortage of land resources, the frequency of extreme weather and public health events have increased, and these impacts have caused countries around the world to suffer losses to a certain extent. Production and life in various places have stagnated, and human survival is facing a huge threat. Establishing an urban defense system and building a resilient city has become an effective means of treating the above problems.

However, in the process of establishment, how to implement in batches for cities with different development levels, and how to improve the efficiency of land use for different functional land use units, and how to provide real-time health monitoring feedback to cities under emergency health events, etc.

Therefore, in the future, this design constructs a simulation of a city defense system for possible natural or virus disaster scenarios. By increasing the floor area ratio of the residential area, opening variable shared spaces, and setting up convenient unit commercial facilities, diversion control during the epidemic, endowing the park green space with the function of a refuge in extreme event, and upgrading the building floors of light industry, intensive storage land, etc. , to realise the construction of the defense system.

In a post-productivist future, urban expansion will inevitably cover agricultural land, especially in most urban areas in developing countries. Without the guidance of a land use strategic planning framework, urban areas will expand wantonly. However, the decline in the proportion of agricultural land around cities will lead to serious problems such as food security.

The importance of farmland improvement in Huangcuo village in the post-productivist rural development stage is reflected in the need to realise a diversified rural economic structure and increase farmers' income. Based on this, it is a crucial task to first renovate its ecological resources. Through reasonable ecological planning, this proposal is to reduce pollution and promote the health and stability of rural ecosystems. Secondly, strictly use basic protected farmland to grow food crops and use other cultivated land to grow cash crops, which guides villagers to change their business methods as well as develop specialty agricultural products and leisure agriculture. Besides, the plan closely links family farms with the market to improve farmers' income and the sustainable development of the village economy. Finally, for the revitalisation of rural culture, the plan emphasizes the protection and inheritance of traditional culture and the value of farming culture. Through event planning and cultural streamline creation, it can increase the cultural connotation and attraction of the village and promote cultural revitalisation.

Bionic Coral Tower Design for Singapore’s Sister Islands Date: 09.2023-10.2023 Instructor: Xuyi Wu Location: Singapore Sisters' Islands Individual Work

In the context of carbon neutrality, carbon reduction plans for humans and the urban environment have received attention from all countries. Ocean acidification is a major issue in marine environmental protection, threatening organisms and ecosystems, as well as global food security, tourism, coastal protection and people's livelihoods. As an important part of marine ecology, corals maintain the diversity of seafloor organic matter and are an important part of marine conservation. However, global warming has intensified the phenomenon of coral bleaching.

This project is a bionic design of a coral-like building tower, aiming to provide the possibility of restoring the coral reef ecosystem. The design is based on biological methods, adjusting the environment suitable for the growth of corals, planting nurseries, using grasshopper parametric design to cultivate the skeleton structure of corals, and promoting the restoration of the structure and function of the coral reef ecosystem. The design is supplemented by physical methods to restore the coral reef habitat, improve substrate conditions, and create conditions for the restoration of the coral reef ecosystem.

In "The Arcades Project", Benjamin believes that strolling on the streets and urban wandering have become a common aesthetic posture in modern daily life, and the core value of this aesthetic posture is fragmented experience.

Nowadays, college student commercial streets are generally formed spontaneously in communities surrounding universities. The spatial order lacks reasonable organization and the environment is relatively shabby. In order to condense daily life and consumption of college students, it is necessary to cultivate a unique culture and improve the spatial experience and cultural experience. Drawing on Benjamin’s arcade plan, the commercial streets of Generation Z college students can be designed in the style of arcade corridors. The interior of the street is decorated with bright colors and animation patterns, emphasizing the two-dimensional cultural system that is the key to the social group of college students, and providing pedestrians with sun and rain protection functions. The commercial street contains various two-dimensional related shops and service facilities. Each shop is themed and decorated according to different two-dimensional works or characters, attracting the attention of students and two-dimensional enthusiasts.

This study aims to explore the 'traditional village ancient residential rental' model.

Through investigating use status of ancient residential buildings, I analyze the impact of rental model on protection and utilization of ancient buildings, provide guidance for rural planning and rental of ancient buildings.

Investigation and research conducted spatial analysis on urban mobile breakfast trucks, and problem-oriented analysis of the impact of mobile breakfast trucks on meal purchasing behavior and street space; through special planning and design, the spatial layout of breakfast trucks was optimized.

It adapts to the slope of the terrain, uses modular assembly, and combines the trees and rocks beside the pond to form a modern wooden pavilion that can be viewed from above and walked through, activating the idle space.

This design adheres to the concept of poetic pastoral and regional characteristics, combines the topography of the site, and extracts Guizhou regional elements such as curved roofs and wooden corridor bridges, allowing villagers and tourists to shuttle, stop in this space, gather to chat, or read about the tea night , full of fun.
