PROJECT BRIEF

Location: KD Road, Mysore

Site Area: 1.55 Acre

Climate: Tropical Savanna

The project involved designing a small, form-oriented complex, with special attention given to the form, lighting, ventilation, and fire safety. Other design considerations included movement, climate, acoustics,

CONCEPT: Movement

Movement in gaming sparks growth, unity, and progress, transforming players and propelling them toward mastery and a more vibrant world.

ZONING:

The gaming complex is zoned strategically, with physical gaming areas that generate more noise allocated to the first three floors, while e-gaming zones requiring minimal disturbance are tucked away on the quiet fifth floor.

Visual connectivity plays a vital role in drawing customers in and enticing them to explore and play various games. To capitalize on this, the atrium is equipped with a capsule lift that provides a seamless visual connection throughout the surrounding area.

"The surface indicates the gamer's comfort zone, in e-gaming where they sit in one place, while the step angular projection represents the physical gaming experience, where the entire body participates, signifying a shift from sedentary gaming to immersive and active engagement."

The futuristic gaming complex features a radially developed form, enveloped in a sleek semi-hemisphere design, with a dedicated block added at the ground floor level to accommodate archery and bowling enthusiasts

CONCEPT: VICTORY

"My design concept draws inspiration from the journey of a sportsman's personality, where the undulating slant roofs represent the highs and lows encountered in every game. The pressure to perform ignites a transformative spark, symbolized by the skilfully integrated skylights. Emphasizing the importance of unity in team sports, i've adopted a centralized plan, which not only represents the convergence of individual efforts but also embodies the idea of finding one's way. Ultimately, the triumph of victory is celebrated through a trophy-like structure at the heart of the design."

CONCEPT:

Design concept for the cafe is rooted in the vibrant coffee berry, celebrating the journey of coffee from its earliest stages. Inspired by the berry's colours and forms, the design incorporates elements like honeycombpatterned window cut-outs, filtering natural light and adding warmth. The interior features organic branch-like finishes on walls made with GFRC, while a soothing monochromatic palette ties everything together. Strategically placed leaf-like structures shield the space from harsh sunlight, protecting lush vegetation and creating a serene ambiance, where nature and architecture blend seamlessly

Location: Vijayanagar 1st stage, Hunsur Mysore, Karnataka.

Site Area: 10.13 acres

Climate: Tropical Savanna

To design a high-density housing complex for HIG, MIG, and LIG groups, integrating individual villas, cluster housing, and apartment, with a focus on sustainability, community interaction, and efficient circulation, while balancing density with green spaces and amenities like a clubhouse.

CONCEPT: SOCIAL SUSTAINIBILITY

A triangular form for my design, which symbolizes unity and strength, bringing together different classes and fostering a sense of community through its cohesive and inclusive design

To minimize disruption from highway traffic, the entry point is strategically located near the corner of the adjacent road, ensuring safe and convenient access while reducing vehicular congestion

Design concept revolves around social sustainability, prioritizing walkability, interaction, and community building through strategically designed pockets of communal spaces, courtyards, and water bodies, all within a low-rise, highdensity framework that incorporates shading, air currents, evaporative cooling, balcony landscaping, and visual connectivity.

ZONING:

The high-density housing development is zoned to optimize natural light, featuring north-facing building surfaces for enhanced illumination. Strategic placement of housing units ensures optimal views of the pool and garden, enhancing residents' living experience. The basement is positioned according to the natural topography, leveraging the lowest points to create efficient and functional space
