SEBA NORTHERN EDITION

SEBA, an esteemed platform that recognises outstanding SMEs and entrepreneurs in Malaysia, continues to be at the forefront of the business landscape by promoting unity and the pillars of what makes it strengths. Established in 2016, SEBA has been instrumental in showcasing the achievements of dedicated entrepreneurs and SMEs whose efforts have not only contributed to the growth of their respective fields but have also made a positive impact on the community.

As SEBA 2023 approaches, the focus remains on nurturing innovation and recognising outstanding businesses in the country. With the theme of unity, SEBA Northern Edition is poised to bring together entrepreneurs and businesses from the northern regions of Malaysia to celebrate their achievements and inspire future growth. At the heart of SEBA Northern Edition are the pillars of strength: ESG Care, Disruptive Innovation and Sustainability. These pillars represent the core values that SEBA upholds and recognises in businesses that have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievements in these areas.

SEBA Northern Edition 2023 will be a grand event, where entrepreneurs and businesses from the northern regions of Malaysia will have the opportunity to showcase their achievements and network with like-minded individuals. Through SEBA's branding and media outreach capabilities, awardees will be recognised on a national stage, inspiring others to strive for excellence and contribute to the growth of Malaysia's economy. I wish to congratulate SEBA for expanding beyond the Klang Valley to hold this SME and Entrepreneur Business Award Malaysia 2023 | Northern Edition in Penang, to recognise and honour entrepreneurs and enterprises from the northern states of Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, and Kelantan.

My warmest congratulations go to all the nominees and awardees tonight. Your success has indeed proven to be the springboard for entrepreneurs and businesses to scale new heights in the northern region.

As we celebrate the achievement of these outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises, I would like to emphasize the importance of unity, which corresponds to the theme of SEBA 2023. MESSAGE FROM PENANG STATE EXCO FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY & ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT

It gives me great pleasure to be here at the 9th edition of the SEBA Awards, and I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all the nominees and awardees of the SEBA Awards 2023 | Northern Edition. SEBA has expanded beyond the Klang Valley to the Northern Region to recognize and honour entrepreneurs and enterprises from Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, and Kelantan.

As we continue to foster and nurture the resilience of Penang society and the Northern region, I am excited to announce that the theme for SEBA 2023 will be Unity. By working together, we can improve the quality of life, economy, increase household income, empower entrepreneurs, increase public participation, and construction. This effort is significant in these difficult times, and we must continue to propel the Northern economic landscape towards unimaginable heights globally.

I pledge to provide entrepreneurs with my complete support, whether they are just starting or looking to develop their business. In keeping with the goals of Penang 2030, I wish to see greater participation from various entrepreneurs and businesses to stimulate the growth of Penang's and the Northern Region's economic development and, thereupon, the development of the community as a whole.
