Perched on the dramatic hillsides of Labuan Bajo, this project reimagines the relationship between architecture, nature, and the panoramic beauty of Flores’ western coastline. Designed as an elevated retreat above the lush hillside vegetation, the development features a collection of floating cabins and a signature hilltop restaurant, all resting lightly on the land through stilt-based structures that preserve the natural contours of the terrain.
The cabins appear to hover above the forest canopy. Their architecture blends contemporary minimalism with warm natural materials, allowing each unit to feel protected yet fully immersed in the surrounding greenery. Large openings frame uninterrupted views toward the islands scattered across the turquoise sea, while generous terraces create an intimate, elevated connection with nature with morning mist, drifting birds, and the soft movement of the hillside grasses.
