CONCEPT: The logo for the Directorate of ART & CULTURE should symbolize diversity and expression of it’s culture. Culture is a very active element of society and is created everyday—it’s progress is always forward, keeping the past in mind. The spiral symbol signifies the movement of culture in this fashion. The colors* in this logo can be manipulated to fit the diversity of cultural contexts as found in Goa, using variable color schemesh. The blob like elements represent the fluid bits of culture which make up the diverse cultural spectrum in Goa. The current font used is Myriad Pro. The logo would look better along side a San serif font like Myriad Pro or other font options can be created if need arises. Shown with various positions for the text.
