Assistance Identifying Theft Suspect

Cheyenne Police Detectives are seeking information about a felony theft that occurred at VFW Post 1881 located at 2816 East 7th Street. A white cargo trailer containing military memorabilia was stolen from the property. The trailer held medals, including Purple Hearts and a Medal of Honor, plaques, flags, uniforms and other personal items belonging to veterans. Surveillance footage shows a gold passenger vehicle arrived at the location, backed up to the trailer and towed it away. If you have any information about this theft or recognize the vehicle, please contact Detective Hedum at 307-633-6643.
