The senior English class of Triumph High continues its goal of promoting Triumph culture in the community by going out into the community! On Friday April 18, the 4th Period English 12 class did this directly by visiting, well, Visit Cheyenne, specifically by meeting with Domenic Bravo, Visit Cheyenne’s President and CEO. At the historic Cheyenne Depot in the heart of downtown, Bravo took the students to the upstairs offices where Cheyenne’s

tourism and community events are brainstormed and enacted. As the students work to refine their own message of Triumph culture, Bravo’s advice was invaluable, sharing suggestions and experiences in developing the “story” of Cheyenne for tourists and residents alike. In addition to the behind-the-scenes look at our community’s messaging and event planning, the students had the opportunity to workshop various ideas and issues with Bravo. From the best kind of “token” (or “swag”, “merch”, in the students’ words) to make in small and large quantities, to the importance of consistent sloganing and visuals, to the input of stakeholders in determining events and campaigns, the students were treated to a specialized collaborative session that was far more engaging and in-depth than what the classroom alone could offer. If other organizations or community leaders would be interested in a visit from or to these intrepid students, Triumph is always looking for opportunities to connect and collaborate!

2025 Greater Cheyenne Greenway Spring Cleanup

Warmer weather is approaching, and the annual Greenway Spring Cleanup is scheduled for May 3-18. More than 70 groups provide regular cleanup along segments of the Greenway in both the city and county. Greenway staff ask that if anything has changed with a participating group’s contact information, Greenway segment preference or if the group is unable to continue with the program, contact Jeanie Shrednik, Greenway and Parks Planner, at 307-638-4379 or email jshrednik@ cheyennecity.org. Participants should wear boots or sturdy shoes, long pants and gloves for clean-up efforts. LCCC Student Art Show

The 2025 LCCC Student Art Show will be on display through May 11 in the Esther and John Clay Fine Art Gallery at the 1400 East College Drive campus.
