Families are required to review and update their students’ information as well as verify their address. Examples of acceptable forms of address verification include:

• Official court documents establishing a legal guardianship and the guardian’s residency.

• Parents/guardians without proof of residency documentation are advised to contact their neighborhood school for enrollment assistance.

• We will not accept Board of Public Utilities, cable, or phone bills.

• Any document submitted is dated no more than 30 days prior.

To allow families more flexibility, parents/ guardians who would like their child to attend a school other than their neighborhood school should submit a boundary waiver form. Forms will be accepted through April 30.

To save time, returning families may log into their Infinite Campus parent portal. The online registration application will be pre-populated with your information. Username and password will be needed. To reset the password, please call your school. For all other inquiries, contact the Service Desk at 771-2242.

Kindergarten families who are not yet enrolled may do so as a new family registration. If these students have older siblings who are already enrolled, they will be added to their families’ application as new students. Proof of address, birth certificate, and current immunization records must be provided.

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2026. If your child turns 5 years old between Aug. 1 and Sept. 15, information about early entry may be obtained

through your neighborhood school.

Neighborhood schools can be found by entering the parent/guardian’s address on the district website: www.laramie1.org. Click on “About Us,” “Who We Are,” “School Maps and Boundaries.”

Title I pre-kindergarten registration will also be open during this time to families with a child who turns 4 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2026. This program is offered at Afflerbach, Alta Vista, Arp, Baggs, Cole, Goins, Hebard, Lebhart, Rossman and Sunrise elementary schools. Families must reside in the school boundary area to attend.

Delta Kappa Gamma Used Book Collection

The Delta Kappa Gamma 42nd annual used book sale will open on Saturday, March 7 from 8:00am5:00pm and Sunday, March 8, 9:00am-4:00pm. Since there have been so many book donations, they have taken over another space in Frontier Mall. All adult books and items are in the former Joann Fabrics next to Bomgaars. All children’s items, plus all puzzles, games, teacher materials and parenting are in the storefront east of Joann’s between FYE and The Buckle. The 72nd annual Stars of Tomorrow is set for Sunday, February 22 at 2:00pm at the Surbrugg/ Prentice Auditorium at Laramie County Community College, 1400 East College Drive. The annual event, presented by the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club, showcases the instrumental, dance and vocal talents of Laramie County students. Terri Wessenberg, event chairman, said contestants will be competing in four categories: elementary, middle, junior high and high school. The 1st Annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends will be held Saturday, March 7 to support Wyoming families battling childhood cancer. The annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends is the largest and only fundraising event and it makes a powerful difference in the lives of Wyoming families facing the unimaginable.
