Cheyenne is home to many different retail stores. It has stores like Target, Kohls, and TJ Maxx. These stores are great and all, but they just don’t cut it for a teenage athlete population. What Cheyenne needs is Lululemon.

Lululemon is a high-quality clothing brand that is made for athletes and comfort. Their clothing is made to last. With Cheyenne being a very athletic community, having a clothing store made for sports would be highly beneficial and would meet our town’s demand.
Wearing Lululemon is already extremely popular in our town. As of now, people are having to drive all the way down to Colorado if they want to go to Lululemon. Having one in Cheyenne would allow people to drive down the street instead, which allows people to keep it more local and support their community.
Lululemon would also bring economic growth to our town. It would give more jobs to our community, increase tax sales revenue, and would have the potential to also attract people to nearby stores as well. If a family decided to take an outing to Lululemon, chances would be

This would secure their wants and needs. “I think that the other big stores here struggle to keep up with trends at least a bit,” an anonymous student said. “With someplace like Lululemon, we would have a more fashionable option.”
People may not like the prices at Lululemon, but there’s always someone complaining about the price of something. People are paying for the quality of the clothes at this store over the quantity.
In the end, having a Lululemon in town would help suit up our Cheyenne teens in fashionable and effective athletic wear. I can say by my own observations that there is a demand for it!

Bowl for Jason’s Friends Foundation
The 1st Annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends will be held Saturday, March 7 to support Wyoming families battling childhood cancer. The annual Bowl for Jason’s Friends is the largest and only fundraising event and it makes a powerful difference in the lives of Wyoming families facing the unimaginable. They help cover expenses such as travel, household bills, groceries, medical insurance deductibles and mental health support for the whole family. They currently serve 178 families throughout Wyoming with 29 families in the Cheyenne area. They rely solely on grants, private donations and the success of this bowling event. Zonta of Cheyenne’s Annual Fundraiser
Zonta of Cheyenne still has tickets and sponsorships available for its 2026 fundraiser on Friday, March 6 at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Center, 1230 West 8th Avenue. Enjoy dinner buffet, raffles, live and silent auctions as well as informational displays about interpersonal violence. Keynote speaker will be Renee Hansen with Ty Warner performing original music. This year’s theme is ‘Help Us Pick Up the Pieces: Rise-Recover-Reclaim’ focusing on those who have come through the horror of domestic violence and are ready to start a new phase of their lives. A significant portion of the funds will be used to directly help survivors of domestic violence, raise awareness about violence against women and support local scholarships. Individual tickets to the event are available for $75. Sponsorships and group tables for either $1,500 or $850.
