Team WHS Top 30 Hockey
Congratulations to Lucy Young, Izzy Keeley (U17), Jemima Copeman, Sarah Pearce, and Millie Crosby (U15), who have all been selected for the England Hockey Performance Centre Squads 2017. This is a fantastic achievement.
Volleyball
Congratulations to Izzy Tucker (Yr 8) who has been selected for the England Volleyball Talent Pathway.
Team WHS is in the top 30 Sporting State schools of 2016. An indication of just how difficult it is to reach the list can be seen when you realise that reaching the top 30 means that we are in the top 1% of sporting schools in the country. This reflects competitive achievement in a range of sports throughout 2016 and honours those schools who take competitive sport seriously. This list is based on 20 different sports and more than 120 different national competitions, with more weighting given to success in a range of sports rather than single sports. This is a fantastic achievement by Team Netball WHS, and reflects the hard work and effort that Congratulations to Polly Campanini (Yr 11) who goes into sport here at WHS. has been selected for the England Netball Regional Training squad.
Individual Success
