Higher education and Careers Guidance
Wycombe Abbey aims to inspire, inform and support pupils in preparing for rewarding experiences at university and in their careers. The Sixth Form Team and Careers Department work with the pupils to provide support in a wide range of areas. Our University Preparation Programme (timetabled lessons) includes a Future Ready week of activities focusing on university applications and life beyond education. More broadly, our in-house, US and International Universities Office support pupils applying overseas via their four-year pathway, and the Careers Department organise work experience placements and engaging inspirational speakers, such as the annual Careers Seminar and regular Career Spotlights. Wycombe Abbey is a partner school of InvestIN Education which offers a wide variety of insight days and weeks into an increasing range of careers.
