Newsworthy Points • Two Day Prayer Retreat Coming Up Pray for our December 6 & 7 prayer retreat. Our office will close for two days to “Be still and know that I am God.”

• Fall Mission Conferences Praise for the Dordt College (28th Annual Hug-ALinguist Day) and Taylor University mission conferences. Pray that the young people who have expressed interest in our work would follow through. • Window On Wycliffe Praise for the WOW’s held this fall in Des Moines, IA, Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL. Over 30 participants came to learn more about service with Wycliffe. • Membership Stats Praise that so far in October and November, 9 people from our region have applied for membership.
This is the first complete Bible in the 869 vernacular languages of Papua New Guinea ! In 1987 the 1300 Dadibi people received the New Testament. However, the people longed to have God’s complete Word. George and Georgetta McDonald (Wycliffe translators) went back to Papua New Guinea and worked with the people to complete this milestone for the country.
• Wedding plans underway! Praise that our daughter Rachel and Chris Wassenaar will be married (D.V.) December 21. Pray for good weather and God’s blessing on their marriage.
