Mom & Babe Yoga

A yoga class to give mom a little mental break from all that is parenthood, creating the space to reconnect with yourself and your baby, while building connection with other parents. The class is designed for bringing your little ones along with you, and incorporating them in the poses. A very flexible class to give you the space to care for/feed baby as needed, Participants should be cleared for exercise by their health care professional. Babies aged 0-6 months welcome. Pre-Natal Yoga

An opportunity for expecting mothers to build a deeper connection with their baby, stay healthy throughout the pregnancy, and to remain flexible and strong to help prepare for labour, birth and beyond. Each class includes safe poses for each trimester, deep breathing, relaxation, and meditation. If you are dealing with any medical issues, please get clearance from your care provider. Please bring your own props for the class, like bolsters, blocks, pillows and blankets to make yourself comfortable (a limited supply of blocks and bolsters are available). Bring your journal as we will dive into some writing to connect with your innermost self, and realize your goals and dreams for becoming a new mother or second/ third/fourth time mom. Yoga for Healthy Aging Ages 19+

Yoga for Healthy Aging supports you to build strong bones and muscles, enhances your balance and stability while keeping you mobile and agile. Other benefits include optimizing your circulatory system and stimulating brain health. Relaxation, breath awareness and mindfulness make this practice a complete yogic experience. What to bring: Yoga (or other) mat, two blocks if you have them, a belt (can be a Yoga strap or a belt from a bathrobe), a towel that can be rolled up, dress in the layers to stay warm during the relaxation period at the end of the class. A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. The yoga postures are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail.
