SENSORY HEAD MASSAGE
Indulge your client in a relaxing head massage to promote relaxation & healthy hair growth whilst they experience the benefits of a Kitoko Masque.
STEP 3
In between massage movements, distribute product evenly throughout the hair by gently combing with a wide-tooth comb or fingertips from forehead to nape.
STEP 2
PETRISSAGE
Apply circular & flowing motions with fingertips starting at the hairline. Continue this technique across the entire scalp, adjusting the pressure according to the client’s preference.
STEP 4 STEP 5
HAIR TUGGING
Used to stimulate the scalp, take small sections of hair & gently tug for 2 seconds. Repeat across entire scalp.
EFFLEURAGE
Mould your hands to the shape of the scalp, then firmly glide hands & fingers downward from the scalp toward the hairline. Next, slide your hands & fingers upward into a ‘prayer’ position, & repeat the motion.
STEP 6
TAPOTEMENT
A stimulating & revitalising technique. Use a light, brisk tapping of the fingertips all over the scalp for 30 seconds.
The head massage is now complete.
