Join us 50 years later in a special “teach in” to learn about the current challenges we face and practical solutions we can pursue in a serious effort to take on climate change. This session will review San Mateo County and Bay Area resources, local skill development opportunities and options for how to get more involved in the community. Leaders from the Northern California Recycling Association and the San Mateo County Office of Sustainability have partnered to create a compelling program. What can we do to shift the thinking and actions of individuals and businesses into better consumption habits? How are recycling programs addressing the impact of China’s recent limits on recyclables? Why is Zero Waste the answer? See page 20
