Another week is over and its nearly halfway through June already.

The Ladies penants is in full swing and once again we are doing well in all divisions.
Wednesday afternoon Jackpot bowls brilliantly run by Rick and Galea and Merve Stewart saw 22 bowlers chasing the jackpot prize, however it never went off and will Jackpot into next week.
The bar was set high, and it was the team of Nik Fernbach with newcomer Greg and Tony Whitehorn who ran away with the first prize money.
On Friday saw the semi-finals of the Whitsunday Christian College and the improvement in the children has to be seen to be believed and it’s going to be another girl’s grand finale.
Saturday and Sunday saw the 23rd running of the June Carnival with 16 teams competing for big cash prizes.
