Our Moel Tryfan Quarry is located on the eastern slopes of a small mountain range, approx. 1,100 feet (340m) high, in northern Gwynedd. This 15-hectare quarry is now in full production with significant infrastructure in place to produce large volumes of the 20mm and 40mm Plum Slate chippings and rockery stone. Securing supply of these bestselling product lines for the next 25 years.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Our environmental policy dictates that we only supply ethically sourced materials from sustainable deposits, being operated within current legislative and ecological parameters.
We also undertake to source recycled products or industrial bi-products for relevant applications where possible. Our plastic, paper, cardboard and polypropylene bags from our processes throughout all our sites are recycled by a registered Waste Carrier company.

SMITHS ORCHARD
Smiths Orchard has been Meadow View Stone stockist for many years and were looking to enhance their product presentation to boost sales and attract more customers. Two large display gardens were introduced and the retail space was transformed as were sales. This was thanks to effective merchandising of products within this category.
BROOKFIELDS GARDEN CENTRE
The Planters Group have been Meadow View Stone stockists for many years at their Tamworth site, the Meadow View Stone team were tasked with installing a new hard landscaping area. Over 40 pallets of stock were merchandised and a sequence of display gardens were built to create an amazing and dynamic sales area, providing an inspirational space for customers.

ORDERING
DECORATIVE AGGREGATE COLLECTIONS
Each pre-pack pallet or bulk bag equates to one full pallet with a minimum order requirement of 5 pallets, e.g. 2 x rockery and 2 x pallets of slate and 1 x bulk bag of decorative chippings would meet the 5 tonne requirement.
PAVING COLLECTION
Most products are packed at 500kg per pallet, therefore 2 pallets of paving equate to 1 pallet of aggregates, e.g. 10 pallets of paving make up the 5 tonne pallet requirement. A mix of any of the above, e.g. 3 pallets of aggregates and 4 pallets of paving make up the 5 tonne minimum pallet requirement. For customers who are not able to reach the above minimum order requirements we can despatch on a palletised carrier network, for which a small additional surcharge for delivery will be applied.
HOME DELIVERY VEHICLES SIZE AND ACCESS
Please check that your customer has sufficient access to accommodate this size of vehicle (18 Tonnes) at their chosen point of delivery. The vehicle will require a minimum opening width of 3m to access the chosen delivery address. If your access cannot accommodate vehicles of this size it may result in failure to deliver, or the goods will then be delivered to the nearest kerbside at the discretion of the driver. Smaller vehicles are of limited availability and requests for these may delay delivery by up to two working days.
ROUTE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS PROPERTY
Please make sure that the route to the chosen delivery address is free from low hanging branches or obstacles, including cars, which may cause damage or obstruct delivery.
OFFLOADING
The driver will unload using a tail-lift and manual pump truck which can only be used on:
• Solid Hard Surfaces
• Surfaces Free From Gravel or Grass
• Flat & Level Ground With NO Inclines/Declines
RECEIPT OF GOODS
Please make sure that your customer is available to receive the order and sign for the material, or has made prior arrangements for a third party to do so on their behalf.
The following delivery criteria, needs to be assessed and agreed with your customer to ensure a smooth delivery is achieved. Failure to comply with these factors may delay receipt of the order, and may incur additional costs for failed or re-deliveries.
We can accommodate some customer’s specific delivery restrictions and would be happy to discuss these to try and accommodate delivery – please discuss with a member of our sales team.
NOT A HIAB
Please note that the delivery will not be on a Hiab vehicle, so the goods will not be craned off.

All products shown in this sales brochure are supplied subject to Meadow View Stone’s terms and conditions of sale. All our aggregate products are naturally sourced and maybe subject to changes in their appearance, colour and size. Colour swatches are for reference only. We recommend viewing samples to ensure a fair representation of your chosen products. The company cannot be held liable for product batch changes in colour, particle size or shape due to processing variants or changes in appearance of these natural materials.
Many of our aggregate products have been mechanically screened through meshes to define the material size specified. While screening offers a more consistent sized product, it cannot eradicate material particles that exceed the defined size(s) in one dimension. All material grading sizes and size ranges are for guidance only.
Boulder & Rockery products purchased from our sources are based on an overall crate weight. Despite close attention to this within our quality systems, piece sizes and numbers per crates can vary. Quantities quoted should be considered as an average across a number of packs and pieces. All quarried materials can be subject to varying contaminates. Every effort is made to minimise this with suppliers. Naturally occurring Iron Oxide/Silicate and other metallic elements are impossible to eradicate fully. Such contaminates can result in staining. Meadow View Stone cannot be held liable for this natural occurrence either pre or post installation.
PACKAGING BULK BAG
For larger requirements a selection of our products can be supplied in bulk bags, either via our home delivery service or for supply ex store.
PRE-PACK
Our range of decorative aggregates are supplied in premium quality, bright and attractive pre-pack bags, with clearly legible fonts in a highly transparent film which gives product clarity and showcases the cleanliness of our products. All prepack bags are supplied black wrapped to prolong the shelf life of the products, with each pallet clearly labelled for ease of locating in store.
No charge is levied for the Garden Centre Brochure and according to the company, it’s employees and authorised agents can accept no liability whatsoever, either directly or indirectly arising from the use of its products in connection with any information or advice contained within. We can accommodate some customer’s specific delivery restrictions and would be happy to discuss these to try and accommodate delivery – please discuss with a member of our sales team.
PAVING
All our Paving products are UK sourced and maybe subject to minor colour variations due to batch variations. Product pictures have been supplied for reference only. We recommend viewing samples to ensure a fair representation of your chosen products. All concrete paving products can be subject to a visual change of appearance once installed. Many concerns simply weather away in the early life of the paving/product. If issues are prolonged please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team on 01948 841 607. All paving and garden areas should be subjected to periodic cleaning and maintenance. The frequency of this will depend upon the environment. Meadow View Stone cannot be held liable for the effect of detritus upon any installed area.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE

DELIVERY HANDLING AND STORAGE
Whilst every care is taken with your order, please check that it is in a satisfactory condition upon arrival. In the unlikely event of any concerns, please contact our customer service team immediately on 01948 841 607. The responsibility of the product and packaging transfers to the customer once it is removed from the delivery vehicle and has been signed for. For all product handling and storage we recommend that a comprehensive risk assessment and method statements are produced to ensure safe, sustainable and legal working practises at all times. This should include a full assessment of the ground conditions for safe stacking.
