JK Developmental Action Group (JK DAG) is a non-profit organization-established in the year 2007, registered with the Registrar of Societies, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, under J&K State Societies Registration Act-VI of 1998(1941A.D) vide Registration No.5150-S of April 2007; also registered under section 12AA and 80G with the Department of Income Tax Government of India and Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, (FCRA) Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Government of India, CSR portal. Our unique ID on the Government of India NGO Portal is JK/2009/0009045.
JK DAG works on various social development themes including Skill Development and employment of youth, livelihood generation, Social Research, women and child issues, promotion and welfare of artisans, Health and Hygiene, Sanitation, Solid Waste Management etc. We are empanelled with Housing and Urban Development Department J&K for implementing Swachh Bharat Mission and with Municipal Corporation Srinagar for implementing Solid Waste Management Project. We are also Training Partners for Government of India Flagship Skill Development Programmes like Pradhan Mantri Koushal Vikhas Yojna (PMKVY2), Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Koushal Yojna (DDU-GKY, Himayat), Employability through Skill Training and Placement (ESTP) (DAY-NULM).
We are also empanelled with Jammu & Kashmir State Child Protection Society for conducting Block/Village level Awareness cum sensitization programme under Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS).
We are also implementing partners of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for the projects 1. Livelihood and Enterprises Development Programme (LEDP) 2. Promotion and Formation of Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) of Women Dairy Farmers in district Pulwama and 3. Skill development project in district Ganderbal .
CSRpartnerships:
We have implemented skill development project sponsored by HSBC Bank under the HSBC Skills for life initiative during 201819.We are currently implementing Homestay entrepreneurship training programmes under SIDBI cluster development programme at various tourist location in J&K.

It gives me immense joy to bring to you our Annual Report for 2021-2022 We have chosen the theme 'Build Back Better’ as it aligns with JK DAG’s endeavor on community-led initiatives to build a just, responsible and compassionate society. JK DAG integrates this concept of building back better with appropriate measures for the restoration of livelihoods, economies, Development, and the environment.
The year 2021 was one more year of medical emergency. The severe economic situation in J&K was the result of the prolonged lockdown announced by the authorities to contain the spread of Covid -19 virus. The unprecedented COVID- 19 pandemic has immensely affected humanity. As an organization, it has prompted us to think out of the box to contemplate ways of carrying on our work with resolute determination. The year has been a challenging one as many of our staff, volunteers. Despite this, we were able to rise and respond effectively to many people across the J&K, especially during the first wave of the pandemic.Responding to affected communities during disasters and providing livelihood support, relief and rehabilitation is at the heart of our work. We ensure that this is done with Core Humanitarian Standards through various modalities such as providing food, non-food items and psycho-social care to the afflicted people in any disaster situations irrespective of religion, caste, or ethnicity.
We facilitate holistic transformation of the communities through our training and awareness programmers. As salt, we permeate the lives of the most vulnerable communities with the favors of hope and dignity, supporting them to build back a better future. This report brings together some of our work and how we could bring hope to the communities even during the pandemic.
We are grateful to our Board and Society members, our Partners/Supporting donors, Government, civil society organizations and networks, our staff, volunteers, communities and wellwishers for their tremendous support and work. Without their generosity and commitment, JK DAG’s endeavor to restore the lives of the communities would not have been possible. We seek your earnest support as JK DAG continues its journey in building back the lives of many poor and vulnerable communities.

Targeted intervention Programe (TI) for IDUs
The project is sponsored by Jammu &KashmirAIDSControlSociety(JK ACS), funded by National AIDS Control Society (NACO) and implemented by Integrated JK Developmental Action Group (JK DAG). The total clients target is 200 and its project area is District Anatnag, UT J&K. To prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among IDUs andtheirsexualpartners.

Activities Under SWM Programme
JK DAG is a training partner for flagship Skill Development Programmes supported by Ministry of Rural Development , National Skill Development Corporation, NABARD & Swades Foundation.
JK DAG has been supporting on-location skill development training programmes which attempt to bridge the skill deficits youth and provided them skill development training in farm/off-farm/service sector activities and help them to establish micro enterprises either on individual basis or on group basis.
