I dedicate this book to all the mothers that are in their kid’s life and keeping them out of harm’s way. Be blessed and this book is for you.

“Top of the morning to you compadres. I’m Erielle, and today I just have to tell you that my mommy has eyes in the back of her head. You see, right now it’s time for school and she just told me to get up and get myself together.”

“Erielle, stop lollygagging and get dressed for school. You can’t sit up in your bed all morning, talking to your imaginary friends.”

“Wow! How’d she know that I was talking to you? See, I told you that my mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“The iron is hot. I’m not going to touch it. But, I bet if I ACT like I am going to touch it, mommy will say something before I do.”

“Erielle, keep your hands away from that iron before you hurt yourself!”

“Wow!

How

did she know I am by the iron? See, I told you that my mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“It’s homework time now, and yes, I had fun at school today. I bet you that if I put my pencil down for five seconds my mommy will say something. One, two…”

“Erielle, pick up that pencil and finish your homework so that you can get that ice cream you asked for.”

“I ask you, HOW did she know that I had put my pencil down? See, I TOLD you that my mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“It’s dinner time and my mommy isn’t looking. We are having peas tonight. I HATE peas. I wonder if my dog Roxi wants them?”

“Erielle, stop giving your peas to the dog and eat your food so that you can get ready for bed.”

“I cannot begin to guess how she knew I was giving my peas to Roxi! See, I told you that my mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“It’s almost time for bed and I haven’t cleaned up my room yet. Every night I need to pick up my toys, but it’s too much fun playing with you!”

“Erielle, clean up your room and get ready for bed.”

“Wow, how’d she know I was still playing? See, I told you that mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“Well compadres, it’s time for bed. Any minute now, mom will tell me to tell you I can’t talk anymore. I should probably just say that right now.”

“Erielle, I’ll be in there in a second to tuck you in. It’s time for you to tell your compadres, goodnight.”

“She knows everything! I told you my mommy has eyes in the back of her head.”

“Mommy, why do you have ‘eyes’ in the back of your head? You always know everything I do, before I even do it!”

“I have eyes in the back of my head because I love you Erielle. I don’t want anything to harm or hurt you. My “eyes” help me keep you safe. Now, get some rest because you have a long day tomorrow.”

“Yes ma’am, and I love you too mommy,” Erielle replied. Then, she

did just

what

her

mommy asked, because mommy must have ‘eyes’ in the back of her head.
