Uno stile di vita che non appartiene al passato e non rinuncia alla ricerca di forme e materiali nuovi, ma al contrario, è espressione di una raffinata attualità: in una dimora tradizionale, un’architettura contemporanea o un’elegante zona lounge.

A white curtain dances in the sea breeze. Shadows create woven, geometric and chiaroscuro effects on the stone. A feeling for beauty, for simplicity and harmony unites a microcosm of situations and ways of being, set against the pale blue sky and the dark blue of the Mediterranean. It’s a lifestyle that doesn’t belong to the past and is uncompromising in its pursuit of new shapes and materials, it’s an expression of sophisticated modernity whether in a traditional home, a contemporary architectural setting or in an elegant lounge area.

Durante l’antichità romana, l’esedra era uno spazio semicircolare, nel quale si svolgevano ritrovi conviviali e dibattiti filosofici. La collezione Esedra prende il nome da questo elemento dell’architettura classica, per creare una famiglia completa di arredi per l’outdoor contemporaneo, instaurando un dialogo fra diversi materiali: dalla fibra sintetica utilizzata per gli schienali, trattata con una tecnologia che ricrea le sensazioni di un intreccio in fibra naturale, ai rivestimenti in tessuto dei cuscini, alle gambe in alluminio.

At the time of the Ancient Romans, the “exedra” was a semicircular space where social gatherings and philosophical debates were held. The collection Esedra takes its name from this element of classical architecture to create a complete range of furniture for a contemporary outdoor look, establishing a relationship between the various materials, such as the synthetic fibre used for the seat-backs, treated with a technology that recreates the sensation of natural woven fibre, the fabric upholstery of the cushions and the aluminium legs.

Esedra si ispira alla cultura antica del Mediterraneo, ma introduce un concetto di componibilità e scomponibilità che deriva dall’esperienza professionale, metà italiana e metà svedese, del designer Luca Nichetto, in un progetto pensato per rispondere alle esigenze degli ambienti contemporanei e dell’hôtellerie in particolare. La collezione comprende una confortevole lounge chair e una scelta completa di tavoli, tavolini e coffee table, con gambe in alluminio verniciato e piano in molteplici materiali, tutti ideali per l’outdoor: teak decapato, ceramica in tonalità grigio tortora o nero lavagna.

Esedra takes its inspiration from the ancient Mediterranean culture and introduces a modular concept that allows it to be mounted or dismounted – derived from the professional experience of the halfItalian half-Swedish designer Luca Nichetto – it has been designed to respond to the needs of contemporary spaces, in particular, those of hotels. The collection consists of a comfortable lounge armchair and a comprehensive range of tables, including the occasional and coffee varieties, with legs in coated aluminium and tops in a multitude of materials: pickled teak and ceramics in dove grey or slate black, all ideally suited to the outdoors.

Nicolette abbina tecnologia e design per dare forma a una sedia robusta e resistente, sofisticata ma senza ostentazione, pensata per l’utilizzo all’aria aperta ma ambientabile anche nelle situazioni indoor più eleganti. La struttura in alluminio pressofuso, dalle forme avvolgenti, si presenta in due varianti: con schienale in lamiera forata che crea giochi d’ombre sulla seduta, oppure vestito in tessuto specifico per uso esterno, con una plissettatura rigida ottenuta mediante un brevetto industriale.

Nicolette marries technology and design giving life to seating that is light and resistant, discreet and sophisticated, designed to be used both outdoors and in the most elegant interiors. The encircling form in die-cast aluminium comes in two versions, with seat-back in a perforated sheet or, alternatively, upholstered in a specialised outdoor fabric with a patented rigid pleating.

Proposta in sei diverse tonalità per la struttura in alluminio, ispirate ai colori dell’ambiente mediterraneo, e tre varianti di tessuto, Nicolette si presta a molteplici soluzioni e composizioni, in qualsiasi ambiente e per ogni utilizzo: a bordo piscina, su una terrazza in riva al mare, in un ristorante o un hotel. Il poggiaschiena in legno di teak, resistente alle intemperie, contribuisce a renderla ancora più raffinata e accogliente.

The aluminium structure comes in six colours, inspired by the colours of the Mediterranean landscape, and three fabric choices. Nicolette can be combined in many different arrangements and compositions, in almost any setting and for all types of use: at the side of a pool, on a seaside terrace, in a restaurant or a hotel. The teak wood backrest adds to its elegance and comfort.

Play è una famiglia di tavoli quadrati o rettangolari dal design essenziale, pensati per creare versatili abbinamenti con gli altri prodotti della collezione Ethimo, armonizzandosi con ogni situazione e stile d’arredo. Il piano è infatti proposto in diversi materiali: alluminio verniciato, teak naturale o decapato, grès con effetto pietra o con una particolare finitura materica. Ampia anche la scelta di misure, per ogni esigenza in casa o nel contract.

Play is a family of square and rectangular tables with pared down lines, designed to be versatile and complementary with the other products from the Ethimo collection. It fits into any setting and furnishing style. The table tops come in different materials: coated aluminium, natural or pickled teak, stone-effect stoneware or with a particular textural finish. The large range of sizes caters for all kinds of requirements, in both home and hospitality environments.

Swing è un sistema basato sul gioco di ripetizioni di una serie di elementi in teak, fissati su una struttura in alluminio, che creano delle accoglienti sedute di diverse tipologie e dimensioni, utilizzabili all’aria aperta come negli ambienti indoor. Dopo aver esordito con un dondolo dalla duplice struttura, avvolto da un velo, il progetto si amplia e si completa con un grande tavolo che unisce il metallo alle doghe in teak decapato e con la nuova poltroncina dining, comoda, funzionale e coerente con il design dell’intera collezione, grazie alle stesse alternanze materiche.

Swing is a range that is based on a playful repetition of a series of teak elements fixed to an aluminium structure, that creates different types and sizes of comfortable seats, equally suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Following its debut with a dual swing seat structure wrapped in a veil, the project continued, developing sofas and armchairs. Today it has been enhanced by a chair to match the Ethimo tables, again with the same concept of design and blends of materials.

Clostra è un’originale schermatura disegnata da Emmanuel Gallina, nata dall’incontro del teak con l’alluminio, la cui sagoma, in metallo e doghe di legno, trae ispirazione dalle trame e le venature delle foglie. Le doghe in teak naturale alternate su due livelli diversi creano un effetto vedo-non vedo e un interessante gioco di profondità. La base può essere completata da una fioriera dando vita così a pareti verdi o fiorite. Il loro utilizzo è indicato sia in ambiente privato che contract.

Clostra is an original shield designed by Emmanuel Gallina, a refined mixture of teak and aluminum whose shape, in metal and wooden slats, is inspired by leaves textures and veinings. The natural teak slats alternating on two different levels, create a fascinating transparency and depth effect. The base can be integrated with a planter creating green or flowering walls. Their use is indicated both for private environments and for hospitality.
