FOREWORD
Please allow me to present the Tilbox company magazine. We
have been designing, manufacturing and supplying above-body
and under-body boxes for the automotive sector ever since 1994. Or in other words: toolboxes for trucks & trailers. We are now
the market leader in the Netherlands and are growing strongly in several European countries. Our clients primarily include trailer manufacturers, bodywork companies and truck dealers.

Important milestones: new location and a new name This magazine addresses two milestones in
our 20-year history. In 2018, we moved to a new location in Valkenswaard, which is five
times larger than our old location. This was also the ideal moment to change our name from ‘Tilburgs Truck Parts’ to ‘Tilbox’. The compact name better reflects what we
do and will also be more appealing in our growing international markets. In short, a large new location and an effective new name. We are now ready for the future;
this means working with our customers to
offer even more innovative and sustainable storage solutions for trucks.
Dakar Rally In the past two years, I have taken part in the Dakar Rally twice on behalf of Tilbox. This has helped to significantly improve
our brand awareness among car and truck enthusiasts. These extreme races taught
me to be more ambitious and courageous
as an entrepreneur and to be open to new
challenges. Our new location is actually the direct result of my new outlook.

And secondly, a new bending robot. This automatically bends our standard boxes
in series of ten and more; previously, this
required time consuming manual work. In
addition, our experienced linear welders use
configuration welding to produce small series
of standard boxes (with different dimensions). We are also investing in a new laser welding machine at this very moment.

can produce whatever our customers want. Our engineers will then incorporate your needs into a design. Actual production
and delivery will only take place once the
design has been approved. Custom-made
production is possible even if you just need a single item.
Stocks and just-in-time delivery We can also keep specific custommade boxes in stock on your behalf, and deliver them on-
demand. What happens if your stock runs out? We will notify
you in good time and agree upon the number of extra boxes that
must be produced. How does this
benefit you? You will never run out of stock and can avoid inventory-
related costs. If you want, we can
also make sure your custom-made boxes are only available to you. If
this is not necessary, we will (once suitability has been confirmed)
incorporate custom-made boxes into our standard product range so they can be acquired by all customers.
