The consultant we employed has undertaken a site survey. As part of that plan, we are considering adding extra car parking spaces to help alleviate some of the parking issues.

Recycling and waste collection As from the 23rd of November, Powys County Council has moved to 3 weekly collection of General Household Waste. Recycled food and waste collections remain the same. Any bags placed beside the general waste bins will not be taken. It is even more important that you recycle as much waste as you can from now on. We can arrange to get you recycling leaflets if you can’t remember what goes into each box. Just let us know. Here is a basic guide: Red Box – Plastics and Cans - Clean food and drinks cans, aluminium foil, plastic bottles, plastic bottle tops and lids, plastic magazine wrappers and bags, bubble wrap, metal bottle and jar lids, aerosol cans, plastic food trays, clean pot and tubs Blue Box – Paper and Card – newspapers and magazines, catalogues, phone directories (shredded paper in an envelope or wrapped in paper) flattened cereal boxes & other card – brown card must fit in box Green Box – Food – leftover cooked and raw food (no large bones) including meat, fish, cheese, veg & fruit, eggshells, tea bags and coffee grounds, rice, pasta, beans, bread, cake, pastries, cereals etc Aqua Box – Glass – clean glass bottles & jars (lids removed)
