I’m incredibly excited and truly grateful to share some news with you today as we look ahead to WVC Vegas, taking place Feb. 15-18, 2026! Our team is working hard to make this our most impactful event yet, and I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the exceptional experiences we’re putting together for you.

Dr. McCurnin’s dedication to the veterinary profession and to the WVC Annual Conference for the past 50-plus years has been nothing short of remarkable. His selfless commitment, personal sacrifices, high ideals, steady guidance, incredible responsiveness, and deep focus on the profession have consistently benefited our conference and, by extension, the entire veterinary community. His contributions have truly shaped WVC into the premier event it is today, and we are profoundly grateful for his lasting legacy.

What is WVC?
From what began as the Intermountain Livestock Sanitary Association in 1928, to what is now one of the largest and most exciting veterinary education conferences in the country, WVC Annual Conference (WVC Vegas, and now, WVC Nashville) is a place for all veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers, students, and all other animal health industry members to gather.

Tips for WVC First-Timers
Wear comfortable shoes.
You’ll be walking quite a bit around the convention center, Exhibit Hall, and event spaces — trust us, your feet will thank you.
Bring a light jacket.
The session rooms can get chilly thanks to the A/C, so we recommend packing a windbreaker or lightweight layer to stay comfy indoors.

Plan ahead for meals.
