teams wanting to compete in the SA Championships (U13, U15 and U19), for families and the less fit (Family Fun and Corporate Crocs) and for Grade 1-4 learners. All categories will start from Lilyfontein School but will cover different distances and adventure disciplines determined by the category.

Lilyfontein School with its long tradition of hosting and competing in Adventure races, has been selected by the SA Schools th Adventure Racing body to host the 12 Annual Championships on 24 September 2013. The 14th Annual Lilyfontein Adventure Race scheduled for 7 September will be a qualifying race for any Eastern Cape teams wanting to compete in the SA champs.

Adventure Racing provides running, hiking cycling, paddling and many more adventure-orientated challenges in a race format. Teams of typically four, with one member of the opposite gender, must navigate using a map and compass through several activities to reach specific check points along the way. The location of the race will determine the extent of the activities encompassed and also the distances travelled.

Teams are only given the starting point at the briefing on the eve of the event. The night is then spent plotting a course for the next day's race and preparing all the equipment required for success in each of the challenges.

According to Margaret Mitchell, Head of the Adventure Programme at Lilyfontein School, “It's not always the fittest team that wins in adventure racing. Of course fitness is a component of success but other factors such as careful preparation, teamwork and keeping your head under pressure are just as important.�

Tips to Keep Your Bedroom Clean and Organized Don't use your bedroom as storage space. If your room is cluttered with things that don't belong in it, then it will be harder to keep it clean and organized.

The tops of your bureaus and nightstand should be clutter free. They should have essentials like tissues, a lamp, remote controls (if you have a television in your bedroom) and anything else that is essential for you before going to sleep.

After changing, don't throw your dirty clothes on the floor. If you know you won't walk to the hamper in the bathroom, put a hamper in your bedroom as well. A hamper takes up a lot less space than clothes on the floor.

Make your bed every morning. You will be surprised at how much cleaner and neater your room looks after doing that.

Don't leave your shoes out in the middle of your room. Put them away.

7. Put away your clean laundry. Don't let it pile up on a chair or on your bed for days.

WILD COAST JIKELEZA FESTIVAL DRAWS RECORD CROWDS A record crowd of 6500 people flocked to the annual Wild Coast Jikeleza Festival which was held on the 27th & 28th of July 2013 at Inkwenkwezi PGR. The Festival, which showcases the Wild Coast Jikeleza Route, draws stand holders from as far afield as Cape Town and Jefferys Bay. The wide variety of local entertainers, goods and crafts on sale made the festival a firm favourite with moms, whilst dad enjoyed the fabulous food fair and beer tent atmosphere.

Kids were not left out, with games, giant slides and magic shows entertaining them for hours in the Kiddies Corner. With free game drives, elephant and cheetah chat interactions, the Wild Coast Jikeleza Festival is definitely unique in its location within an operating game reserve.

A visitor to the festival had the following to say: “The Festival was great, my children had lots of fun and we will definitely be back next year” Louise Sheasby Festival Partners, Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism, AlgoaFM, SAB, WCFM, ECDC, Wild Coast Jikeleza Association members, the Go!& Express and Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve were acknowledged by chairperson Patrick Whitward who said: “the festival success was the result of the combined efforts of the members of the Wild Coast Jikeleza Association, with the public's ongoing support the Wild Coast Jikeleza Festival can become even bigger and better” WUEC Page 10

religion matters Don't limit God God wants to do miraculous things in your life, according to His purposes. God wants us to be excited about our lives.

Our belief system can limit God in our lives.

We all come from families and backgrounds where we have been conditioned to think in certain ways. For example, if you grew up in a detached environment, you may become a loner in your adult life. If you have impoverished thinking, you will act it out and live it. You may have been conditioned not to expect much in life – because the situation will never change. You have believed a lie. Your life is going the way of your thoughts –as you think so you are. Your answer, is to take the limits off of your wrong thinking. You need to change yourself. What is your belief system and how does it align with Gods Word. If you waiting for someone else to do it for you, to take you from where you are to where God wants to you – not possible. Submit to Christ and take responsibility for your life. I Psalms 78 vs 41, “Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.” – They turned back and tempted God and limited the Holy one of Israel. The psalmist is saying to the younger generation, don't do what the previous generation did – don't limit God. Simple, but powerful scripture. All of us limit God. God is infinite, He is huge. Your and my life ought to be reflection of that.

If you can look at your life and explain it away by your great talents and abilities and successes – you are focusing on the natural and limiting God. God is bigger – walk in His power – so that He gets the glory. All the good that I am, is God. I am not smart enough to have done – it is God in my life. I have limited God in my life. I felt that God had called me to preach, but what was stopping me. ME! The way I viewed myself, was stopping me from preaching. I had always had a poor view of myself. One of my old school teachers couldn't believe that I was getting up in front of people and preaching. God can turn anything around in your life, if you align your thoughts, to the way that God sees you. When God speaks, and we question it we limit God. He offers victory and we can make issues, situations bigger than God – we tie His hands.

He can do exceedingly abundantly – according to His power working in us.

God created you for something special, don't waste your life. God doesn't make junk. You are special and unique.

Seek God and find out what it is and obey Him and then

work within the limits that God has placed on your life.

Not the limits that you have placed on your life.

2 Corinthians 10:12”For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend ourselves with those commend themselves. But they, measure themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

We limit God, because we compare ourselves to those around us – bible says we are not wise.

Daniels, (born in 1932 in Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian life coach, writer, and professional speaker-billionaire. Daniels has authored thirteen books, including How to Reach Your Life Goals and How to be Happy Though Rich. Daniels came from a disadvantaged background and was challenged with illiteracy in his early years. His family was third generation welfare recipients, he has two alcoholic brothers, 4 fathers and 2 mothers. Many of his relatives have been in jail. He failed at every grade in school and became a bricklayer. At 26 years of age he was hopelessly in debt, and attended a Billy Graham Crusade on 25 May 1959. He attributes his life change and subsequent success in life to that meeting, where Billy spoke on all men being equal under God. He stopped believing the lies about his life that he had believed and took the limits off and trusted for what God could do in his life. After reading 2,000 biographies, Daniels went into business three times, failing each time, but avoiding bankruptcy. He subsequently managed to build a large real estate business in Australia and South East Asia and serves as a director and chairman on a range of international boards. He preaches and teachers in churches around the world.

Majority of people take the potential that Christ has placed in them to the grave. What do you think that God is going to say to them when they meet face to face. This is not a dress rehearsal this is the real deal.Take the limits off of God that you have placed in your life and begin to hear and obey Him. Jesus is alive – let your life depict this in the fullness of what God intended it to be.
