While keeping your household clean and organized may be a priority, in practice it can be a bit of a challenge, and the more members of a household there are, the more difficult that challenge is likely to be.

In order to keep things neat and organized, and thus to eliminate all those minutes wasted looking for missing items, you need a few easy tips When family members drop items anywhere as they enter the house, clutter builds up fast. Keys are placed on counters. Mail is placed on the table. Backpacks are dumped on the ground. To combat this trend, create a mudroom space, even if it's just a small side table and a coat rack at the entryway. Household members should place all items here when they enter the house.

Assigning each member of the household a specific color can be effective in keeping everyone on board with the organizing effort, especially if children are involved. Paint the insides of drawers, shelves and cubby holes with an assigned color and make that space specifically for that person's items. In playrooms, colored plastic bins can serve the same purpose

ilyfontein School held its annual Founders' Day

celebrations on Saturday 25 May. The highlight of the day was the derby day against Stutterheim in which all hockey, netball and rugby teams from U9-U19 participated.

The Lilyfontein first team Hockey girls drew 2-2, the Lilyfontein first team rugby boys won 22-03 and the Lilyfontein first netball team lost 12-27.

The day included a potjie competition. The team from The Cricketer restaurant won the best tasting potjie prize (see attached pic of Mark the Chef with judges Petro Lotz – City and Guild trained Chef and owner of Appetito catering and cooking school and Rici Hanekom – serious foodie and wine expert who has travelled extensively abroad to cater to her hobby.) The Best Team Spirit prize went to Jason and Bianca Turner from Grade 2. All potjies were sold by the PTA to raise funds for the school.

Entertainment was provided by the Lilyfontein Drummies -SA Drummies Champions of 2013 , marimba band, African drumming circle and of course their mascot the Lilyfontein Lynx

All children have a right to basic health care.

Immunisation is one of the health care components.

The government of South Africa currently (2010) spends more than R80 million on vaccines.

Only when a disease has been completely eradicated worldwide can immunisation be safely discontinued.

Baby may be immunised if: Baby is not on cortisone There is no history of convulsions Baby has not been ill in the past month Has not had immuno-globulin in the past 3 months Has not had a fever within the past 48 hours When immunising baby:

The primary purpose of the immune system's infection-fighting cells is to identify antigens.
