Welcome back!
It’s great to see you all again.
Welcome to the fourth edition of the Robotics Summit & Expo - the premier event for commercial robotics development. The brightest minds in robotics will be with us for the next two days, sharing their experiences and expertise to collectively drive robotics development and innovation forward.
Our conference programming is headlined by Martin Buehler (Johnson & Johnson MedTech), Howie Choset (Carnegie Mellon University), Jonathan Hurst (Agility Robotics), Laura Major (Motional), Nicolaus Radford (Nauticus Robotics), Marc Raibert (AI Institute) and Wendy Tan White (Intrinsic). The keynotes and general sessions will provide insights and actionable content to help develop the next generation of commercial robots. We will cover everything from advances in enabling technologies and development tools, how to optimize the design of your robot, keys to manufacturability, case studies and more.
We also have two conference tracks in our Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum. Learn about the latest in surgical robotics, haptic sensing, human factors design, motion control, open-source frameworks and
more. You will also be introduced to seven innovative companies during the Healthcare Robotics Startup Showcase organized by MassRobotics, our strategic partner. Thank you to all of our speakers for taking time out of their busy schedules to share their knowledge with us.
Our expo floor is packed with 150+ exhibitors showcasing their latest enabling technologies, products and services. Enjoy the various robotics demos, as well as the MassRobotics Startup Alley and Form & Function Challenge. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities and a career fair to help you continue your commercial robotics development story. Thank you to our sponsors for demonstrating their commitment to the commercial robotics industry.
The Robotics Summit & Expo is colocated with DeviceTalks Boston. DeviceTalks Boston is designed for professionals who are shaping the future of the medical device industry. Robotics Summit attendees also have full access to DeviceTalks Boston.
And thanks to you, our attendees, who continue to make the Robotics Summit & Expo a success. We will be posting pictures and videos on all of our social media channels. Make sure you follow along and share your experience by using the hashtag #RSE2023
Enjoy the Robotics Summit & Expo here in Boston. And don’t forget to download our conference app to plan your show and get the latest updates.
Sincerely,

Look no further than the new KCI 120 Dplus dual encoder from HEIDENHAIN. It lets you master the inaccuracies that plague dynamic, highly articulated robots, such as gearbox backlash and forces induced by the application at the end effector. The KCI 120 Dplus turns a conventional articulated robot into a high-accuracy production system and a dependable cobot.

Cutting-Edge
Welcome DeviceTalkers
Time away from the office – home or actual – is precious, so we built a DeviceTalks Boston agenda that delivers high impact experiences and real-world insights.
We threw everything into these next two days. All the challenges we’ve been writing and talking about for the past 12 months will be talked about here:
• Managing your career.
• Building a strong sales team.
• Pushing innovation that makes a difference to customers.
• Getting a better understanding of materials, old and new.
• Robotics, automation and what it means for healthcare.
• Healthcare equity – What are we missing?
• Developing devices that can help patients for many years.
• Positioning your start up for success with strong legal and financial footing.
• The revolutionary power of virtual and digital technologies.
• What our industry needs to do to be more sustainable.
We’ll talk about all of that and more, so review the agenda carefully and make sure you download the conference app. Join us at our networking receptions at the end of today. Begin at 5 pm on our Expo Floor then ask our staff about off-site opportunities.
Thanks for spending your time with us. You SHOULD return to your desk on Friday with stronger skills and a renewed excitement for our great industry.
