DEAR DEVICETALKERS,

Finally, we’re back. DeviceTalks Minnesota was supposed to be the very first DeviceTalks event I organized.

I joined DeviceTalks in November 2019 and immediately started building our Minnesota meeting for June 2020. We had everything lined up—venue, speakers, sponsors, you name it.

Then—BOOM—the pandemic shut everything down.

We began to regain momentum in 2022 but couldn’t quite find the right time or place to bring this event back—until now.

I’m beyond thrilled to finally fill this long-standing gap in our DeviceTalks journey with the program you’re holding in your hands.

We designed this meeting specifically for Minnesota. It represents our new model for DeviceTalks events: a single, highimpact day packed with MedTech insights for the innovators, engineers, manufacturers, and leaders who are shaping the future of medical devices.

What can you expect?

• Inspiring keynotes and industryshaping conversations right here in the stunning Memorial Hall

• Breakthrough technology presentations in the Heritage Gallery (Seriously—how amazing is that space?)

• Forward-looking, company-led discussions in the Johnson Room focused on where MedTech goes next

We’ve built in plenty of time for networking, and the McNamara Center provides some perfect spots for sharing insights and swapping contact information. Make sure you say hello to Managing Editor Kayleen Brown, MassDevice Editor (and local!) Chris Newmarker, and me.

I’ll be the guy with the big grin on his face.

If you love talking about MedTech with MedTech people, you’re right where you belong.

Let’s get to work.

Go MedTech,

Tom Salemi
