Elizabeth is Missing on Masterpiece Returning to television for the first time in almost three decades, twotime Oscar winner Glenda Jackson stars as a woman desperately trying to solve two mysteries as she declines ever deeper into dementia, in this adaptation of Emma Healey’s acclaimed novel. Playing feisty grandmother Maud Horsham, who lives alone despite early-stage Alzheimer’s, Jackson is joined by Maggie Steed as Maud’s only friend, Elizabeth, who ominously goes missing.

and Hugh reveal their true feelings. Ross makes a vow.

While Ross watches Cornwall suffer under a new MP, Demelza remains caught between Ross and Hugh. Morwenna uses Osborne’s affair against him; Sam and Drake are blamed for a murder.

The Poldarks try to get their relationship on track, and the Enyses announce they’re expecting a child. Hugh’s health prevents him for standing in the election, so the candidacy is offered to Ross.

Ross makes his maiden speech in Parliament and finds some notoriety. The Enyses welcome a baby daughter. George hosts a party.

While George continues plotting his return to Westminster, Ross is reunited with his family at home. Then tragedy strikes, forcing him into action again.

MORNING

To his frustration, Ross faces failures in Westminster. Demelza continues her matchmaking efforts.

George finds the opportunity to ruin a business rival and the Poldarks in the process. Ross whisks Demelza off to London, and Elizabeth has news for George.

The Warleggans’ domestic bliss comes under threat, and as Morwenna takes fate into her own hands, Ross and Demelza encounter deadly complications.

The Poldarks look forward to life in peace, but a plea from Ned Despard compels Ross to return to London. George struggles with grief.

dangerous web. George’s grief has unexpected consequences. Dwight’s expertise on insanity places him and his friends on shaky ground.

Ross’s tenacity in helping Ned bears fruit, but at a cost. Demelza wrestles with how best to aid the community; Morwenna lends herself to the cause. George’s sanity deteriorates.

Ross is given hope for the Despards’ return. Dwight gains unexpected patients. Morwenna begins to slip away in secret. A discovery leaves Geoffrey Charles and Cecily in turmoil.

Ross returns to London with the Despards and Enyses. Morwenna tackles her grief. Geoffrey Charles’s intent to marry Cecily lands them both in trouble. George conspires once again.

Geoffrey Charles makes a desperate plan to elope with Cecily before she weds George, and Demelza uncovers a theft at the mine. Ross pleads for Dwight’s help in a daring attempt to save Ned.
