Whether sailing around the UK on Celebrity Cruises’ Silhouette to exploring Europe on-board the brand-new Silver Moon, there’s been plenty to indulge our appetite for luxury cruising again.

“Cruising on-board Seven Seas Splendor was a wonderful experience, with only two sailings completed before the pandemic, she was effectively a brand-new ship, and the decor exuded the luxury, style and sophistication that you would expect from Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We have had many questions from our clients on the paperwork and preparation needed for travel and the various restrictions in place on cruise lines and abroad. I can genuinely say that each time I have sailed the process was smooth and efficient. “Boarding was straight forward with the reassurance of additional Covid testing in port and I would say this only added 15 minutes to the whole embarkation process, a small price to pay for the confidence this brings. Masks have become a part of everyday life and along with in suite sanitiser kits and the heightened emphasis on washing and sanitising hands you feel safe and well cared for on-board.”

S I LV E R S E A Speaking on the recent launch of the highly-anticipated Silver Moon, Silversea’s Sales Director Connie Georgiou said, “After so long of not being able to sail, stepping on to one of our beautiful ships for the first time was very emotional, however as soon as I was greeted by our

REGENT SEVEN SEAS CRUISES Confirming that their whole fleet will have fully returned to sailing by February 2022, Regent Seven Seas Cruises are well underway with a successful resumption of itineraries. The cruise line’s newest ship, Seven Seas Splendor, enjoyed a hugely praised inaugural season in September this year and Seven Seas Explorer has just joined in the celebrations with its own return in October. “It’s truly amazing to be back on board Seven Seas Explorer, and it is fantastic to see our guests being treated to the unrivaled Regent experience once again. Our crew have done an outstanding job in preparing for the ship’s return, with the service so seamless it is as if we were never away.” Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises

OCEANIA CRUISES Oceania Marina was the first ship from Oceania Cruises to welcome guests aboard, in over 520 days and the first to cruise from the port of Copenhagen since 2019. The cruise line is operating in line with the requirement that 100% of guests and crew are to be vaccinated – as part of the wider SailSAFE Health and Safety program. Speaking on the day Marina resumed sailings, Bob Binder - President and CEO of Oceania Cruises - said, “Today is one of those days we will all remember for a lifetime as we reunite with our shipboard families and our guests to start exploring the world once again.” Remaining ships will continue to set sail for the first time in coming months with Riviera and Insignia also setting sail in 2021, followed by Sirena in January 2022; Regatta in February 2022 and Nautica in April 2022.

CELEBRITY CRUISES Ten of the 14 ships in the Celebrity Cruises fleet have now returned to sailing in 2021, taking guests to awe-inspiring destinations from the Caribbean to Europe and the Galapagos. Two of the latest ships to return to service included Celebrity Reflection departing from Fort Lauderdale and Celebrity Constellation from Tampa Bay. It has been exactly 600 days since Celebrity Reflection last had a guest on-board in Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades prior to ceasing operations. Each ship will enjoy nearly six months exploring the Eastern and Western Caribbean before their transatlantic voyages to then embark on itineraries that include many of the most alluring cities around Europe, including stops in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Croatia. “The past year has been one of remarkable change, but we can definitely say the announcement of the return of these two marvelous ships is a change in the right direction as we invite our guests back on board. SEVEN SEAS GRANDEUR Regent Seven Seas Grandeur will be the sixth member to join the Regent fleet. This 750-passenger vessel will debut in late 2023. S I LV E R N O V A Deepening Silversea’s commitment to the environment, summer 2023 will see the arrival of Silver Nova with hybrid power sources achieving a cruise industry-first – local emission-free operation in port by using fuel cells and batteries.
