Sailing on-board Azamara was like experiencing a 5* floating hotel. Enjoying a glass of champagne on arrival, surrounded by an elegant and classic decor which was very warm and inviting. I highly recommend spending some time in The Sanctum Spa and soaking in the sunshine on the The Sanctum Terrace with some delicious frozen yoghurt from Swirl & Top.

What strikes you first about Silver Nova is the space – the first of the new Evolutionary Class from Silversea, she is indeed their largest and most spacious ship. The new asymmetrical design with a spacious yet intimate feel, creates unique ‘pockets’ of space throughout the ship, including alcoves of sun loungers and seating areas for quiet (and relatively private) relaxation.

We enjoyed polar bear briefings for what to do should we spot one; lectures on the destinations in the Arctic and its history; Zodiac tours surrounded by glaciers and mountain backdrops; spotting Arctic birds swooping in the skies from ashore; and taking on the polar plunge at 80° north!

The relaxed ambience on-board provided the perfect respite from a busy day of exploring. Expedition cruising with Seabourn truly combines the best of exploration and ultra-luxury cruising.

Modern and spacious, Scenic Eclipse is a ship that caters to the luxury expedition cruisers very well. During my time on-board I noticed that everything, from the accommodation which is sleek in design and offers space to relax, to the selection of dining venues across the decks to suit various appetites and moods – it’s an ultra-luxury experience like no other. With unique experiences such as helicopter tours and submarine excursions, Scenic Eclipse is ideal for your next expedition adventure.

The value for money makes it an unmissable experience. Staying in what I can only compare to a high-end spa hotel, combined with the standard of fine dining on-board, and exceptional service provided! We were truly taken care of throughout our entire time on-board and I have never felt so relaxed upon disembarking a ship! This is a MUST for anyone that values quality food, service, music and exploring destinations in a slower paced relaxing environment.

Seabourn Venture | British Isles “My time on-board Seabourn Venture really opened my eyes to how beautiful the British Isles is and the wildlife and landscapes it has to offer. From boarding in Leith, we sailed first to Cromarty Firth, where we took a shore excursion to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. In Fair Isle, I tried the kayaking excursion where expert guides accompany you to paddle into the ocean. During our experience, I spotted puffins, guillemots and many more birds as well as seals. In the afternoon, I went back out again on a Zodiac excursion where you can climb a cliff and watch puffins from above. Our last days included stops in Mousa, the Isle of Noss and Lerwick, which offered trips to see the ancient Broch & explore the national nature reserve nearby.”
