Luxury Cruising

A luxury cruise is the perfect choice for those seeking a lavish cruise experience without the ultra-luxury price point. Plus, many luxury cruise lines offer something distinctly unique to bring your travel experience to life, from exquisite onboard cuisine to unmatched exploration of exciting destinations.

Oceania Allura, Oceania Cruises

“From the moment I stepped on board Oceania Allura, I knew this wasn’t just another cruise ship; this was a luxury home at sea. The soft and ambient lighting and open light-filled spaces felt fresh and modern, yet never clinical — striking a perfect balance between elegance and comfort.

I stayed in Vista Suite 10,000 — a showstopper of a stateroom positioned right at the front of the ship, featuring a beautiful separate living area, a spacious bedroom with generous storage, and a truly stunning bathroom.

Oceania is famed for its food, and Allura absolutely delivered; Red Ginger stole the show for me. The new Nikkei concept — blending Japanese and Peruvian flavours — was a triumph! The crew were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make guests feel special. A standout moment? Arriving at Red Ginger and being greeted by name before I’d even sat down.

Oceania Allura delivers everything a modern luxury cruiser could want — sophisticated décor, incredible food, thoughtful service, and spaces that make you feel like you're on your own private yacht.”

Azamara Quest, Azamara

“Stepping aboard Azamara Quest, we were met by welcoming staff and clean, tasteful décor adorned with plenty of artwork and sculptures. We stayed in an Ocean View Stateroom, which was very well laid out with plenty of wardrobe space, a fabulous vanity area and a mini fridge.

There are a fantastic variety of dining venues to suit the different times of day. On arrival, we enjoyed a lighter lunch with panoramic views of Nice's picturesque port at Windows Café and on two of the evenings, we dined at Discoveries Restaurant, which offered a diverse selection of dishes each day from escargot to lobster to Pad Thai My dining highlight has to be Aqualina, a stunning Italian restaurant with outstanding service!

One thing that stands out about Azamara is that their ships are smaller than many other cruise lines, which allows you to dock in hidden gems and get closer to your destination. In Nice, we were docked within walking distance from all the shops, the beach, restaurants and bars, where we stopped to experience the local cuisine and beverages while looking out at the ocean and the palm tree promenade.

We also visited Corsica's beautiful port, which is so colourful and scenic, with something new to admire at every turn. It was here that we went on an excursion up to the mountains to taste some food and wine, which was excellent! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some insightful information about Corsica!”
