BRAND-NEW CRUISE SHIPS ON THE HORIZON

As we step into a new dawn of cruising, the cruise lines have not stopped planning and preparing exceptional experiences for us to look forward to in the coming months and years. Alongside existing fleets, there are plenty brand-new ships joining that will offer a luxury cruise experience like never before. Featuring industry firsts and elevated amenities that take the signature elements even further, here are the ones to watch out for…

AZAMARA ONWARD

Azamara Onward will be the fourth ship in the fleet and the latest to join since 2018 when Azamara Pursuit joined. Coming in 2022, this ship offers the chance to explore the world at your doorstep. Cross oceans, cruise scenic waterways and dock at hidden gems that larger ships simply cannot reach – this is a small ship cruising experience like no other!

Next year, Azamara Onward is sailing in the Mediterranean with 22 itineraries to choose from. The cruise line’s thoughtfully-planned itineraries ensure you can make the most of every port with more extended stays, more overnights and unique night touring. Enjoy more of what matters as you experience the history, arts, cuisine and local customs which make Azamara cruises so popular.

CELEBRITY BEYOND

The latest ship set to join the Celebrity Cruises fleet, Celebrity Beyond brings the same incredible features as seen on Celebrity Edge® and Celebrity Apex®, alongside some brand-new additions. Revolutionary dining experiences brought to you from world-renowned chef, Daniel Boulud, alongside new levels of luxury in The Retreat and incredible outdoor spaces.

Soak up the sun, salt breezes, and stunning scenery in newly expanded open-air spaces. Savour fine dining that rivals anything you’d find on land. And discover even more ways to relax and renew. Making its debut in 2022, Celebrity Beyond will set sail across Europe on a selection of itineraries, before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean for more tropical temperatures.

EMERALD SAKARA

Emerald Sakara will be the second addition to Emerald Cruises’ luxury superyacht fleet, as well the addition of a brand-new sailing destination, The Seychelles, with the new superyacht expected to celebrate her inaugural departure in 2023.

Emerald Sakara’s maiden voyage will be the eight-day Tropical Charms of the Seychelles, exploring Port Victoria (Mahé Island), Sainte-Anne Island, Cousin Island, Praslin Island, Grande-Soeur Island, Curieuse Island, La Digue Island and Aride Island.

EXPLORA I

Explora Journeys is a new luxury cruise line that is designed to explore the very best of the world’s destinations. Explora Journeys fleet will have 4 state-of-the-art ships, the first to be launched in 2023 with the remaining ships ready in the following three years.

Due to set sail in 2023, Explora I will utilise the latest innovative maritime technology to provide journeys on and off the beaten path. Designed by the world’s foremost superyacht and luxury hospitality designers, Explora I seamlessly blends Swiss precision with modern European craftsmanship.

Named to reflect the dawn of a new age in travel, Vista will provide all the luxury standards of the Oceania Cruises experience which guests have come to expect. Enjoy ‘The Finest Cuisine at Sea’ and an exceptional personalised service with two staff members for every three guests.

The Oceania Vista is due to be launched in 2023 and will be the first of the 1,200-guest Allura Class ships. Vista will be the seventh ship in the fleet and will be followed by a second Allura-Class ship in 2025.

Seabourn’s latest addition to the fleet will be an ultra-luxury, purposebuilt expedition ship - named Seabourn Venture. The ship will be the first expedition ship for the cruise line and will join the fleet in April 2022.

Seabourn Venture will also have a sister-ship Seabourn Pursuit scheduled for joining the fleet in February 2023 - expanding the cruise line’s offering specifically for the expedition traveller. Both ships will be designed for diverse environments, with PC6 Polar Class standards.

Accommodation will feature 132 luxurious oceanfront veranda suites, superb dining venues, a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, as well as the signature award-winning service expected with Seabourn.

Regent Seven Seas Grandeur will be the sixth member to join the Regent fleet. This 750-passenger vessel will debut in late 2023. While many of the same signature experiences will be found on-board, these will be elevated to the next level including the all-new Compass Rose.

This venue will feature beautiful cascading waterfalls at the main entrance together with a canopy of crystal and wood-edged decorative accents and support beams designed to resemble the branches of a tree. A first-of-its-kind for a Regent Seven Seas vessel who have always focused on a more understated elegance throughout the interior décor of its fleet.
