AUTUMN No wildlife list would be complete without the Galapagos and September is the best time to visit to see them all. As one of the most important and protected ecosystems on earth, the region is home to many unique species which are a wildlife-spotters dream. As winter descends on Hokkaido, Japan, feeding stations are set up at the Kushiro marshlands, pre-empting the upcoming visitors.
