Specialist Concierge, Dan McMahon recently visited Alaska aboard Seven Seas Mariner, sailing from Anchorage. Here’s what he thought of this time exploring the region…

Seven Seas Mariner is a beautiful ship and I thoroughly recommend choosing Regent Seven Seas Cruises for your cruise to Alaska. All the trips we did, from sea otter, bear and bald eagle spotting in Sitka; mining adventures and whale watching in Juneau; and zip lining through the forests of Skagway, were included within the holiday cost which made such a difference.

Life on-board Seven Seas Mariner was luxurious to say the least. The food was incredible, the miso salmon in Compass Rose was a favourite of mine! Entertainment was varied through the evenings and our suite was plenty spacious for the three of us, including a veranda to enjoy the stunning views of Alaska as we sailed.
