The following information highlights and provides a brief summary of certain terms and conditions which apply to your booking. These are NOT our full Booking Conditions. Our full Booking Conditions apply to all bookings. These appear on our website www.rssc.com and can also be provided by e-mail or post on request.

Please note that due to the forthcoming implementation of the EU Directive on Package Travel in the UK and other EU member states, the Booking Conditions referred to in this summary only apply to bookings made up to 30 June 2018. For all bookings made from 1 July 2018 onwards, alternative Booking Conditions will apply. You must ensure you have seen and agreed to the correct Booking Conditions prior to confirming your booking. These will be available on our website on 1 July 2018.

The full Booking Conditions together with the information contained in the Frequently Asked Questions section contained in our applicable brochure and on our website form the basis of your contract and constitute your conditions of carriage with Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Before making your booking, you must read our full Booking Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions Section carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By seeking confirmation of your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have done so and accept these as the basis of your contract. A binding contract between us comes into existence when we verbally confirm your booking and provide a reservation number to you if booking direct or your travel agent receives confirmation of your booking and a reservation number from us by any means or your booking is confirmed by our website.

For all cruises which involve international carriage (as defined by the 1974 Athens Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage

by Sea as amended by the 2002 Protocol (“Athens Convention”)), the provisions of EC Regulation 392/2009 on the liability of carriers of passengers in the event of accidents (which incorporates certain provisions of the Athens Convention) and/or the Athens Convention will apply to your cruise and the process of getting on or off the ship. For any other travel arrangements which form part of your holiday with us to which any international convention or EU regulation applies, our liability will be limited as if we were the carrier in question entitled to rely on the applicable convention or regulation (for example, the Warsaw Convention as amended or unamended, the Montreal Convention and/or EC Regulation 889/2002 on Air Carrier Liability in relation to travel by air). Our full Booking Conditions also include other limitations and exclusions of our liability to you.

Our full Booking Conditions provide for the payment of cancellation charges if you cancel or fail to make payment when due and for the application of surcharges in certain circumstances. Prices are correct at the time of going to print (errors excepted) but may increase or decrease at a later date.

All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays in this brochure are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay, you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our full Booking Conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to www.atol.org.uk/ ATOLCertificate Holidays which do not include flights arranged by us are protected by ABTA. This means all monies you have paid to us for an advance booking will be refunded in the unlikely event of our being unable to provide your holiday due to our insolvency.

The UK Foreign Office publishes regularly updated travel information on a range of subjects including safety and security in all holiday destinations on its website www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice which you are strongly recommended to check before booking and in good time before departure.

British citizens require a British passport in order to travel to the destinations we feature. This usually takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks to obtain but can take longer. If you are 16 or over and haven’t held a passport previously, you need to allow at least 6 weeks and should not book your holiday until you have received your passport. Current visa and compulsory health requirements (if any) for British citizens with a British passport are shown on our website. Requirements may change.

In the event of any flight delay or cancellation at your UK or overseas point of departure, the airline is responsible for providing such assistance as is legally required by EC Regulation 261/2004, where applicable. Where your cruise departs from the UK or another port in the EU, we will comply with EU regulation 1177/2010 in the event of delay or cancellation.

ABTA and ABTA members help holidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct.
