When disembarking from your cruise ship you will need to board a free shuttle bus for the two-minute journey to the coach park, where all private tours leave from.

You will be met at the coach park in Livorno port by a Cruising Excursions representative and taken to your air-conditioned transportation, ready to start your transfer to the city of Florence.

This excursion allows you to explore this beautiful city by yourself, enabling you to take in the many galleries, historical sites and numerous street markets. There’s so much to see in Florence - here are just a few ideas: Uffizi Gallery, Accademia Gallery (the famous statue of Michael Angelo’s ‘David’ is in this Gallery), Florence Markets offering an array of leather goods, souvenirs and local produce, Designer shops, The Piazza Santa Croce, Santa Croce Church, Piazza del Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower, Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio), Piazza della Republica, The elegant Ponte Vecchio (The Old Bridge).

The drive from the cruise port to Pisa takes about 45 minutes. Your dedicated guide will give you running commentary throughout the journey and will stay with you throughout the day, except during your free time in Pisa and Florence.

At Pisa you’ll get approximately 45-60 minutes to experience the attractions of the Piazza dei Miracoli (Miracle Square), including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry and the Camposanto Monumentale (Monumental Cemetery).

The coach will then transport you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance - a journey of approximately one and-a-half hours. On arrival, you’ll be taken on a short walk, passing the Accademia Gallery on to the Duomo Square to set the meeting point. From here, you will embark upon a walking tour of the historical centre of Florence, starting from the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral to the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower and Brunelleschi’s Dome. You will pass the Piazza della Repubblica, the Orsanmichele Church, the Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio), and the Uffizi Gallery , ending with a view over the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio.

You’ll then have free time to explore the narrow streets full of shops, café bars and trattorias – or to simply relax and admire the beautiful views across the river.

After some free time to dine, shop or simply relax, your transportation will return you to Livorno port in plenty of time to rejoin your cruise ship.

PLEASE NOTE: If you want to see the Michelangelo’s Statue of David in the famous Accademia Gallery in Florence, tickets can be purchased as a supplement. Free tickets are available for EU citizens under 18 years old of age - in order to secure these, please contact us directly for the booking.

Unfortunately, time logistics and the popularity of the site will mean it i will not be possible to go inside the Uffizi Gallery.

The journey to Pisa will take approximately 30 minutes from the port of Livorno, in Pisa there will be approximately 45 minutes to explore Pisa on your own before taking the coach to Florence.

This excursion will allow you to explore this beautiful city by yourself, allowing you to take in the many galleries, sites and also to have a typically Italian shopping experience in the many street markets available.

If you wish to pre-book your tickets for the Uffizi or Accademia Gallery we can do that for you, simply select the supplements below.

The transportation from Livorno will generally be in a air conditioned coach (depending on the numbers for this excursion - this is a shared excursion). The meeting point for your tour will be outside of your ship and on return the driver will explain the meeting point and time on the day ready to commence the journey back to the port.

You will have approximately 3-4 hours to enjoy Florence.

We will commence with a short drive through Cannes, your guide will point out the famous hotels where the rich and famous stay, where the Cannes Festival is held and of course the beautiful stretch of golden beaches Cannes has to offer.

On the way to Monaco your guide will be giving you running commentary about the French Riviera, the history, the produce and of course the best places to visit.

The first stop in the tour will be the Old Town of Monaco, as we arrive here the views are stunning, as your transportation parks in the coach park below your guide will take you up to view the most spectacular mansions on show in this very rich destination. Here you will see the Princes Palace with its grand architecture. Sometimes it is possible to see the changing of the guards (depending on the time, this changes at approximately 11:55am every morning).

You’ll have the opportunity to see the wonderful Monaco Cathedral – a definite photo opportunity. For a chance to relax and enjoy the lush greenery, we will also make a stop at the Monaco Gardens too. There will be some free time allowed in Monaco to perhaps get a coffee, an ice cream or just plenty of photo opportunities.

From the Old Town of Monaco we move onto Montecarlo where we can marvel in the glitz and glamour of this destination plus we’ll also be taking time to see the Monte Carlo casino (if you wish to enter the Montecarlo Casino this is 10 euro’s per person and entrance is before 2pm).

The Monaco tour would not be complete without a visit to the world class Grand Prix circuit.

The drive to Aix-en-Provence takes approximately 45 minutes. When we arrive, we’ll head off on a walking tour of the area in order to admire its beautiful fountains and squares. You’ll also see the Cours Mirabeau, a picturesque walkway lined with trees and the occasional water fountain.

Aix is great for souvenir shopping. It has great markets and shops for you to buy souvenirs from, or you can just just relax and enjoy a coffee or snack at one of the many eateries.

There will also be some free time for you to wander the beautiful rues of this lovely town.

Alternatively, you may wish to go with your guide to Cezanne’s Workshop. This is just a short drive away from the main centre and here, you’ll be able to view the gardens Cezanne once worked in and if you wish, enter his workshop (5 euros per person entry fee).

Finally, we’ll head off on a scenic journey back to Marseille port in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a relaxed tour. If you don’t wish to go on the walking tour, you’ll be allowed to discover Aix by yourself. You’ll need to inform the guide and the guide will then inform you of the meeting point to return back to the port.

This seven-hour tour begins with a 45-minute drive through picturesque countryside to Aix-en-Provence, where you’ll enjoy a walking tour of this quaint village, with its beautiful fountains and squares. Discover the Cours Mirabeau, a wide picturesque walkway lined with trees and cafés, such as the famous is Les Deux Garçons, once frequented by famous French cultural figures such as Paul Cézanne, Émile Zola and Albert Camus.

At this point, there’ll be some free time in Aix, where you can do a spot of souvenir shopping in one of the small shops or markets, or, if you prefer, just relax and enjoy a coffee or snack at one of the many eateries.

The tour will then take you on the one-hour scenic drive to Cassis, famous for its cliffs (falaises) and sheltered inlets or calanques. Your guide will tell you more about the area as you travel. Cassis is a beautiful village with a picturesque port and you’ll have approximately an hour and a half to spend shopping, eating or just relaxing.

After spending some free time in Cassis, your transportation will return to the port of Marseille to reach your cruise ship in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.

Sagrada Familia.

The tour will start with a drive to one of the most famous buildings in Barcelona - the Sagrada Familia. We’ll also drive down the Passeig de Gracia and past two of the most talked-about Gaudi buildings in the city – La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, a modernist museum designed by Gaudi.

The tour will stop a street away from the Sagrada Familia and we’ll leave the coach and walk to this famous building.

We’ll spend approximately 45 minutes here before continuing on to the Gothic Quarter, and then on to Las Ramblas, famous for its many tapas bars and souvenir shops. We’ll enjoy some free time here before the tour ends.

Park Güell.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be taken back to Barcelona port in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.

If you wish to stay in Barcelona after the tour this is possible but please note, you will have to make your own way back to the port. Barcelona City centre to port is approximately 7-10 minutes by taxi (depending on traffic) and costs around €15.00, to be paid locally.

T This popular half-day tour incorporates a tour of Naples together with a visit to the ruins of Pompeii – taking you back to the fateful day in 79 AD when neighbouring volcano Vesuvius erupted. The air-conditioned transportation departs from and returns to the port entrance, which is a very short distance from where your cruise ship docks.

The tour of Naples includes stops at the cathedral to visit the Treasure Chapel and Basilica, which date back to the 4th century. You’ll also take a trip to the Piazza del Plebiscito to see the Royal Palace, then go on to visit the Town Hall Square and finally, the New Castle.

Driving to Pompeii, we’ll enjoy fabulous views of the city of Mount Vesuvius and the beautiful island of Capri to the right.

Pompeii was totally destroyed by Vesuvius’s eruption in 79AD, which killed all 20,000 inhabitants of the city. During the 1860s, the site was very carefully excavated, and today visitors can wander the streets, visit the shops and even enter homes left exactly as they were minutes before the disaster.

Experience the immense history of such fascinating sites such as The Forum, the Suburban Baths, the House of the Vettii and the infamous ‘Lupanare’ brothel!

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. As this tour involves walking on uneven ground, including the negotiation of large slabs on the streets of Pompeii, it is not recommended for guests with mobility difficulties or wheelchair users.

You’ll return to Naples Port with your guide in plenty of time to re-join your cruise ship.

On arrival in Pompeii, your English-speaking guide will take you on a two-hour tour of the famous ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn all about the lost city buried by the ash of Mount Vesuvius following its catastrophic eruption in 79 AD. Your guide will be on hand to give you all the information on what is arguably Europe’s most compelling archaeological site.

After the visit to Pompeii there will be a little free time for you to use the rest room, get a coffee or do a little souvenir shopping.

The tour will continue with a beautiful drive down the Amalfi Coast, along what is said to be one of the most spectacular coastal roads in Europe. Finally, the tour will stop in Sorrento, a beautiful town straddling the cliffs overlooking the water to Naples and Mount Vesuvius. There will be free time to explore the area, visit the souvenir shops and sample the local produce of Sorrento - an area famous for its lemons and the production of the digestif, Limoncello.

The tour will end with a drive back to the port of Naples which will take approximately 90 minutes, leaving plenty of time for your cruise ship departure.
