3. WTCA TERMINOLOGY
Use "World Trade Centers Association" or "WTCA" for the global network. Use “WTCA Members” for Members. Use “WTCA Partners” for Partners. Use "World Trade Center (WTC) businesses" (or other qualifying noun such as "locations," "services," "branded facilities," etc.).
Use “World Trade Center Association” or “WTCA Association.” Pluralize "WTCs" or "World Trade Centers." Per legal, we need to keep the WTC brand strong and ensure it is not genericized with "WTCs" or "World Trade Centers."
Example: Proud to work with our WTCA Members and WTCA Partners worldwide.
Additional Pointers on “WTC” Terminology: When saying: WTC License/License Holder WTC emblem/trademark WTC-branded/WTC model
REMEMBER...
WTC is always singular. It must always be followed by a qualifying noun such as ‘business’, ‘location’, ‘service’, ‘staff’, ‘facility’, or ‘brand’. Business names: Do not use ‘the’ before a specific WTC business name (i.e. WTC Mumbai v.s. The WTC Mumbai).
