Continuing Education Change for Active Members in 2021
Beginning January 1, 2021, active membership with the Association will now include the 5 hours of Continuing Education for the annual renewal of your dealership license. In the past, WSIADA would give a discount of $75 for dealer membership to process their 5 Read and Respond quizzes from the Front Row before notifying the State of Washington. Dealer members had spoken to us over the years concerning why the education option was not part of the fee, we listened and presented the opportunity to the Board of Directors in early December 2020. As the members are receiving the publications with the quiz in each edition as part of the membership, it was easy to make the adjustment. However, if a dealer member needs physical replacement copies of the publications by mail, there will be a $25 fee to cover shipping costs if the dealership doesn’t want to take advantage of the downloadable copies on WSIADA’s website. Title Workshop, Education Fair and other specialty training courses will still provide a discounted price for active dealer membership. Dealerships that are not members of the Association will remain the same price for the 5-quiz option and can always be purchased through the WSIADA webstore or call the office to process your request.
