Brian Dansel Executive Director WSIADA

WSIADA is excited to announce the hiring of Brian Dansel as our new Executive Director.

Mr. Dansel was previously a Washington State Senator as well as an advisor at both the National Economic Council as well as the United States Department of Agriculture.

Prior to that, Dansel made his start in the Automobile Industry. “My first car was a 1956 Chevy BelAir, and since then I was hooked on cars,” Dansel said. “That’s why my first job was at a car dealership—I simply love the industry.”

Dansel says that his experience in the Senate led him to believe that any industry is only as good as its’ trade association. “I have seen firsthand how important sticking together is to bring a more unified and amplified voice. One of the things I look to do pretty quickly is actually get out to not only chapter meetings and educational trainings, but also in-person visits to your store,” he added.

Dansel looks to bring his combination of legislative, advisory, and sales experience to expand the Association’s clout. Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Carrie and their two sons Gavin and Sam.

His first day on the job was May 3rd— so please swing on by our headquarters and welcome the new guy!
