was nothing short of extraordinary for the WSIA PAC. It was a year of tremendous growth, strengthened influence, and recordsetting achievements, all made possible through the collective dedication of WSIA members. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you who helped make this year’s success a reality.

Thanks to the support and generosity of 850 contributors, we surpassed our ambitious fundraising goal of $450,000, achieving a remarkable $458,017 in contributions by year end. For the first time in the PAC’s history, we closed the year with a balance exceeding $1 million.

This critical milestone underscores the strength of our shared commitment to the wholesale, specialty, and surplus lines industry and our advocacy priorities.

We continued to amplify our influence in critical state legislatures and Congress through strategic disbursements to industry allies. In 2024, we set a new record with $221,250 in total disbursements, surpassing last year’s

total by $32,750. This included $61,250 directed to candidates for state legislature and insurance commissioner.

ABOUT the WSIA PAC Since its inception in 2005, the WSIA PAC has been a key element of WSIA’s advocacy strategy. The PAC helps the association educate candidates for state and federal office about the importance and impact of the wholesale, specialty and surplus lines industry on the nation’s economy. The PAC offers an influential voice on the industry’s complex insurance issues and can also offer financial support to candidates whose goals are consistent with those of WSIA and its members.
