welcome to careers with words 2023

Thank you for attending our events across the West Midlands in March 2023. This is the first in what we hope will become a regular series of events. We hope you enjoy the event and discover something new about a career which involves writing.

Through attending a Careers with Words event, you’ll find out about career opportunities that have writing at their core, from working in a library service, as a content creator, a publisher, at a literature festival or one of the many other careers that are available across this sector.

This programme will provide you with insights, information and signposting of where to go for further information.

Above all, we want you to feel inspired to consider a career working with words in whatever form you’re enthusiastic about, as all the partners involved (Arts Connect, ASCEL and Writing West Midlands) believe passionately in working with and for young people to offer fun, engaging and inspiring opportunities to discover and explore creative careers.
