Isla Gregory My earliest memory was when I was four. Me, my mum and my sister went shopping. My dad was still at war on Mars, but we were on Jupiter.

The three of us went to Rock-Side Tavern. To get there, we had to go through a field, over the sand dunes, through the beach grass and over the sand. At the end of the journey was a very large rock. Inside the rock was a wide tunnel that led to a cave. A door, that was made of wood, stood before us. My sister, Lila opened the door and inside was a magnificent, colossal room with lights of red, yellow, blue, green, orange, pink and so many more. If you stood in the middle, there were multiple floors which you could look down on.

First, we went to Christina’s Jewellery. She sold the most beautiful trinkets in all of Jupiter. She sold blue, green, turquoise, purple and every colour of the rainbow. The trinkets came in so many shapes that I can’t remember them all. My mum bought a glorious bracelet with an orange charm in the centre and small pearls surrounding it. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

When it was lunchtime, we ventured to the second floor. Our favourite diner was a place called Fly’s Fries. There were burgers, fish and chips, pizza, pasta, scampi and so much more. I had the scampi while Lila had a burger and my mum had fish and chips.

After lunch, we wandered around and found ourselves in an arcade. We went on the 2p and 10p machines and won 137 tickets. We then won 381 tickets bowling.

After a long day, da we decided that we were all tired, so we went home.

That was my first memory.

Jacob Nuckley Suddenly, as Bunny Man was struck down by the hare, he dropped the keys to Atlantis. However, the hare didn’t grab them, he just watched Bunny Man faint.

The hare made sure Bunny Man was passed out by slapping him, removing his mask, hanging him upside down, pulling his ears and using him as a punch bag.

As the hare went to grab the keys…POW! It turns out that Bunny Man woke up and give the hare a taste of his own medicine. When Amazonicorn came in to take the hare straight to the slammer, Bunny Man went off to find Poseidon in Atlantis.

Daniel Kells So, there was a criminal called Billy Bob. He was always being racist to all the old people, but Jimmy the superhero appeared to save the day!

Jimmy followed Billy Bob to the Radio City Tower. Billy Bob had a plan. He said, “I’m going to take over the world…mwahaha!” “Oh no you won’t,” said Jimmy.

Jimmy was very small and so he went up Billy Bob’s pants and tickled him until he fell off and died.

Oh god, I’ve just remembered, Billy Bob was invisible and he’s coming straight for me. “Heeeeeeeelp!” I screamed.

Diya Dino One day, I was walking to the local supermarket when I saw somebody bullying someone! I was astonished. Why do people do this to other people I thought when the bully started to walk away. I went to help the little girl up. She was still crying when I left to chase the evil bully.

For some weird reason, he was going to the top of the Radio City Tower. I went up after him. He was holding a spray can in his hands which read ‘Bullying Spray’ but then, he dropped it. I quickly dashed down the stairs while he stood there moaning about me, but I didn’t care. When I got there, he somehow got there before me and started to run away but I wasn’t going to let that stop me, so I flew after him.

Out of nowhere, a gang of villains came and started to slow me down so I couldn’t stop them. I was so frustrated that I just flew past them. I got the main super villain and broke his spray, that is how frustrated I was.

One day, Skelety felt different but he didn’t know what un-zzzzzzz “WAKE UP!” “AAARRRGGG, YOU COULD HAVE JUST TAPPED MY HEAD!” For some odd reason, he kept falling asleep.

Chapter 2 - The Weirdness Commences.

POOOF! Huh, what is he doing, he…“HAI IAM OWARFEEESH WAAABEEE.” “YOUR ENGLISH IS SO BAD THAT EVEN BALDI CAN HEAR YOU. HE CAN HEAR SO WELL.” “YOU’RE SOW WUDE.” “SORRY.” “I’LL MAKE YOU REGRET YOU EVER EXISTED.” “THERE, MUCH BETTER ENGLISH. WAIT! WHAT?” “I’M GONNA CRUSH EVERYTHING YOU LOVE.” “NO, YOU’RE NOT!” (Blaster fires) “HOW DARE YOU HURT A GIRLLLE.” “AAAHHH, MUCH BET-ZZZZZZ.” “OH NO, THIS AGAAAIIINNN!”

Lillie O’Hare The bright blue moon shone as a whale flew through my window and called in a superhero. Apparently, the whale was the superhero’s whale. The whale said, “Hello fellow human.” The superhero said, “Hi.” The sunset shone through my clean window as another superhero flew in. I recognised her from my comic book. Her name is Ricky. I saw a fire going out of control. They flew out because they knew they had to act fast.

Thomas Linstead My headteacher had been kidnapped and the vicious kidnapper said to come to the Liver Building. Why the Liver Building? I was very mad that I had to go all the way to the Liver Building, but why there anyway?

I went to the Liver Building and realised that I was tiny! Wait! What? How and why am I tiny? There were so many questions filling my head that I didn’t even notice I was on a mountain!

I looked up and a sign read…well, nothing. If you’re on a mountain, there won’t be anything there, will there? PHEW! I shot myself. I shot a cloud…great. Even better now, it is raining! Okay, let’s go to the Liver Building. I turned myself invisible – as I normally do – and went from this massive mountain to the Liver Building in 5 seconds…

1, 2, 3, 4, 5….6 Oops, I lied. Sorry!

Michael Torres Cortes One afternoon, I was in class when I got a mysterious letter telling me to go to the colossal train station at the end of the day. I put on my red and yellow striped superhero suit and, on my way, I saw people running and screaming from the train station. I ran as fast as I could because I saw a massive fire.

I stopped someone and asked, “Who did this?” They said, “An evil chicken with telekinesis. It exploded one of the oil tanks and the train blew up. That is what caused the fire.”

I found the evil chicken on one of the buses. I threw the bus with my super strength and it smashed into the building. The evil chicken got thrown into the burning train station and was roasted. Everyone ate his chicken body with a sprinkle of pepper!

Camron Schneider Firah was on the bus going to town because she needed some things and no, I’m not telling you what. Soon after, she realised that she had forgotten something important at her humble abode and again no, I can’t tell you…Ugh. She got off the bus to walk all the way back home and…started to snore! And snore a bit more! While she was taking a huge, long nap, a perplexed policeman strolled past and mumbled, “People these days. I would arrest her but she’s way too young.”

An hour later, Firah abruptly woke up, also perplexed like the policeman. She woke up to the sound of a vibrating phone but had missed the other 30 calls she had received. She started to sleep (again!) at the Royal Hospital and people were staring at her, worried and confused. It wasn’t her fault though.

At around 8pm, she woke up and used her speed. People were really surprised!

Firah got there but nearly ALL the shops were closed! There was only one place open but that was a late-night restaurant.

She was quite disappointed until she checked her back pocket. There was a letter. She opened it and it read, ‘Meet me at Radio City! From your bestie! X’ How could somebody be so quick to do that …?

Carmen Lee One day, da I found a mysterious letter saying to meet someone at Sefton Park. The park was peaceful and still. Suddenly, I saw a strange figure standing on top of the tallest hill in the park. It wore a black mask, a long cape and evil boots.

Sometime later, I realised that it was… a villain!

I magically transformed into a superhero to stop it, but what was it up to?

Probably shrinking everything down or…well, basically causing mayhem everywhere! But why is it super quiet?

Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re thinking. You think that just because it’s a villain doesn’t mean that everyone immediately runs away. Sometimes it’s a different story, like everyone gets shrunk or they are teleported to a random location and so on.

There was something just not right. I searched around until something came to my attention. It was the middle of the park. Normally, the middle was beautiful with nature and exotic insects but there was a playground, misplaced. Had it been turned into…A HIDEOUT? To be continued…

Jamie Hurst One day, I was in Sefton park and I spotted a bookworm. I was reading on a bench and the bookworm stole my book and ran away. Do worms have legs? I am tiny because everyone calls me tiny. So, I threw myself in the bin.

Joe Gray One day, Billy Bob Jeff was out looking for a new car. Suddenly, a villain appeared from nowhere. I was so glad I had amazing slime powers. I punched him in the face and, as he fell over, I put my slime on him. Then he flew away.

Instead of buying a car, I stole one. After that, I drove away and never ever came back again.

Laiba Zaidi I was heading to school when I saw a speeding car nearly hit an elderly man. I dashed towards him and helped him up. I heard the school bell and ran as fast as I could. The elderly man said, “Thank you.”

Finally, I arrived at school and made a new friend. Her name was Aliyah. A few Finall hours later, I was back at home and I saw a little thing in my bag. I opened it up and saw a little bug. “Ahhhh,” said the bug. Suddenly, I had a flashback. I remembered the elderly man whom I helped across the road snuck this thing in my bag.

I trapped the bug in a glass cup. She said, “My name is, Tiki. Master chose you to be a superhero, but you must not reveal your secret identity. You must fight the evil villains and stop them from talking about your identity.”

Oliver Evans “Hello! Hello! Yes, this is Captain Brain from Liverpool. I would like to join a superhero team. No? Well then, it's your loss!” Captain Brain was on the phone with the Superhero Organisation (SO) trying to get into a superhero team. Once again, he failed.

Captain Brain fell backwards into his Hover-Chair 2000. He sighed loudly.

Would he ever get into a team? Suddenly, Captain Brain heard a shrill scream. It was his front lawn.

The lawn was screaming, “Captain Pea Brain! Captain Pea Brain! Emergency at Lime Street Station!” Captain Brain didn't have time to tell the lawn off for calling him names. He pulled on his red cape immediately and put his underpants on over his trousers (that's what superheroes do, no one knows why). Captain Brain flew towards Lime Street Station.

When he landed on the roof, he noticed the villain straight away. He was pouring what looked like a strange soup onto the passers-by below. Captain Brain blasted him to the moon and back and then to the moon again and back etc.

THE END

Patience Costello I was in my room writing a story for my school about animals in the wild being safe. It was a punishment because my teacher doesn’t like me and I don’t like her, but what she doesn’t know is that I am a superhero.

In school, only my friend knows about me being a superhero and she promised that she wouldn’t tell anyone unless I told her to. My best friend’s name is Ava. She has been my best friend since we were little up to High School and she is still my best friend. She is the loveliest friend you could ever have in a million years, and I mean a million years. She has got brave talent in her.

Hi, did I mention I am Osiona and I love to be lovely to everyone even when they are upset and worried. I love to make them laugh out loud and my dog even laughs when he is really down.

Once I went on a mission. I saw a scary mummy wearing a bow tie and a top hat and he was really scary and terrifying.

Orlaith Doyle I remember saving a dragon from a UNICORN. I know it sounds crazy, but I did.

(And you thought I’d written it wrong, hmmmm?) The dragon now lives in my house. I named him Griffin and yes, I know that a griffin is a type of bird, but it is also the name of my dragon. He has been living with me and my pet dog, Lroyg (pronounced la-roy-j) ever since.

I know Griffin is mine because he is neon blue and has a red, orange, yellow and gold horn. Yes, I said horn. What? Did you think he was normal? Oh please, I come from Exotica Land.

And here is another thing, they BOTH eat whipped cream and nothing else.

Now time for the real story‌ I had the same feeling that you may have felt when I told you I had saved a dragon from a unicorn.

It was just an ordinary day until later that evening, when I was walking around the street looking for something to solve, I suddenly heard a horse like scream. I rushed around the corner to find that Dr Smith had struck again! (In case you didn't know, Dr Smith is my arch nemesis.)

There was a small dragon roughly the size of my hand. I looked behind me to find a strange unicorn looking thing staring back at me. I looked forward again to see blood and a large dragon sprawled across the floor. Three seconds later, the unicorn flung its leg at the dragon. I don't know how I did it, but I managed to jump in front of the unicorn. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the unicorn stop and, after that, the dragon belonged to me.

A few years later, I got everything up levelled just for Griffin and now he loves his home even more.

Grace Ravenscroft “It’s a lovely day,” said Amazonacorn. Suddenly, a message popped up on her phone. ‘Hi, I’m…Personal Information. Come here to Radio City Tower now!’

I ran as fast as I could to Radio City Tower. Suddenly, we (Me, Leanne and Dave) saw a monstrous beast! It had skin drooping from its body. I nearly got defeated but I thought, I’m a superhero and superheroes never give up. I WON! Another victory for me, WOOP WOOP. I was celebrating so hard, I fell over. Leanne and Dave were celebrating too.

They even put me on the radio. I was thrilled. I was famous now. Wherever I went, everyone knew me. I thought I was a famous singer because everyone was taking pictures of me. I thought I was Lady Gaga or Shakira or something. They made makeup kits about me. Bunny Man was thrilled too. I told everyone to include him because he is my best friend.

It continued every day for 3 weeks until, on the last day, I told everyone I was leaving tomorrow. Everyone gave me free stuff and every time the police came, they said, “Oh sorry, wrong person.”

At the end of the day, me and Bunny Man were devastated we had to leave.

“GOODBYE EVERYONE,” we screamed. “GOODBYE, WE WILL MISS YOU,” they all said. “WE WILL MISS YOU TOO,” we said.

We went back to the Amazon Rain Forest.

THE END

Isabella O’Brien One boring Saturday morning, Superkid received a mysterious letter telling him to go to Blackmoor Park Junior School. Superkid being Superkid, went to Blackmoor Park Junior School and saw Racism Man looking at him. Racism Man took Superkid’s largerizer and made himself a colossal beast. Superkid got shadowed for a moment until he finally looked up and realised it was Racism Man! Although Superkid didn’t have his powers, he did have his gadgets. He grabbed his trusty sword from his belt and beat the monster unconscious. He then used his shrinkizer and shrunk Racism Man back to normal.

An hour later, the police were called, and they took Racism Man back to jail.

Eloise Ridgeway The Dragon I looked up and saw something falling out of the sky! It was a DRAGON! It was burning the forest down. It burnt down the whole forest including my house. Then I realised it had burnt its tail. I remembered that I had some spare plasters, so I went over and put some on. When I went over, I could smell the burning flesh…YUCK! The dragon tried to hurt me, but I said, “I’m here to help you.” He seemed quite scared of what I was doing to him, so I tried to calm him down. If I hadn’t given him some meat to eat, he would have eaten me which would have been very sad for my mum. The dragon only seemed to be a baby, so really, I think there was little chance of him eating me.

Writers Note So yeah, this is my first published story. It’s weird, funny, sad and overall amazing! This is only one of my fun and wacky adventures!

George Hayhurst Woah, where am I? Wait, wait, wait, I’m at the Liver Building! “AAACHOOOOOO!” Woah, I’m at my sixth birthday party…how can this be real? I feel another sneeze coming on, “AAACHOOOOOO!” I’m back at the Liver Building. Wait, is that? No, it can’t be…MR BOB, MY EVIL MATHS TEACHER! He ate my hamster’s peanut butter cake. I can remember him jumping through my window and stealing it. I still can’t forgive him to this day.

“HEY,” I shout, “Never, ever steal my hamster’s belongings!” He smirks “HE cheekily at me. “I’m going to punch you,” I shout and POW, I punch him. He stumbles backwards. He begs me to stop. “NO,” I reply. But then…POW, he punches me. “RIGHT, THAT’S IT! You’ve hurt my hamster’s feelings and now you’ve hurt me physically. I have no choice, but to… put you in JAIL!” I threw him in jail. “Bye, bye, MR BOB.” THE END

Samuel Greenway Sam is at the top of the Radio City Tower. He looks down and sees the whole of Liverpool below him. He is so high up that he can see his home planet, Catoto. It is all black and has huge, tall, spire buildings. It is so far into space that it doesn’t even have stars around it. The only way to get there is to teleport with portals or use Thanos’ glove.

He has a mysterious letter asking him to go to Catoto. The letter reads, ‘Come to Catoto. But how to get here? Don’t use your portal. You have to sneeze.’ He falls off the building which makes him sneeze. He is teleported to Catoto with his sneezing powers!

The only thing he won’t do is block his sneeze!

Red. Everything in Catoto is red. Hell is waiting for him dressed up as God. Sam thinks he sees God before realising it is the devil! Sam runs to fight the devil, but he sneezes. Then, he is teleported next to the devil and the devil punches Sam so far Sam nearly falls off the planet!

Scarlett Baker One sunny day, Grace woke up in her bed. She felt a bit sick and she was cold.

Suddenly, she sneezed, “ACHOOOOOOO!” When she opened her eyes she thought, where am I? Grace peered around the corner. The sign read ‘Mersey Tunnel.’ She stood there thinking, where is home? Who could have done this? Was it my teacher in year three? She has always been jealous of me! Or…maybe, just maybe, I have magical powers!

Grace started to panic. She asked the people around her if she could borrow their phone, but no one would listen to her.

Then, she saw a pond. It was heated and everything. I could do with getting in, Grace thought, so she did. As soon as she got in, it felt like it upgraded her powers.

“ACHOOOOOO!” She was facing her enemy. He tried to punch her, but she dodged out the way. She ran up the wall and did a backflip landing on his head.

He tried to grab her but missed as usual. Then Grace made her finishing move.

She made herself float and then jumped on him. BOOOOOOMM! He fell to the floor in agony. “ACHOOOOOO!” Suddenly, she woke up and was back in her nice, warm bed. Grace didn’t feel sick at all.

Lola Lewis It was a Tuesday. Well, a rainy Tuesday but Fantastigirl had gotten a call from the Lord Mayor saying that Cat Girl had moved her house to the top of Radio City Tower.

Fantastigirl had to get her suit on and find her belt because it helps her talk to animals. She put on her suit but couldn’t find her belt anywhere. She looked everywhere but couldn’t find it. Finally, she found it and dashed to the door tripping over everything in her way.

When she arrived, there was a gigantic rock sitting on top of the Radio City Tower. Fantastigirl shape shifted into a moth so she could fly up to the top of the tall building. Fantastigirl had to dodge all the lasers that were inside Radio City Tower so she could get to the top of it to stop Cat Girl from crushing it.

Fantastigirl couldn’t fly as a moth as she’s not very good at flying. She had to find a different way to get up. Fantastigirl decided to shape shift into a gorilla. She ran up there, grabbed the house and smashed it to the ground. Cat Girl was left up there all alone.

Maison Edwards The Liver Buildings Late one evening, Bob had a vision. The vision showed an evil villain climbing up the Liver Building. Bob decided to chase him so that is what he did, but he falls asleep every 10 minutes.

When Bob got to the Liver Buildings, the 10 minutes were over. Luckily, his friend Mister Monkey was there. Mister Monkey helped Bob by pulling him up the Liver Building. When he got to the top of the building, he woke up, so he and the villain had a fight.

The bad guy ran to the World Museum and stole the skeleton of a Dinosaur so he could rule the world and set it on fire.

Archagi Kirubakaran My Wonderful Story.

While I was having my extraordinary supper (yes, I was having my supper), I suddenly heard a colossal beep from my secret backup. Curiously, I went and checked. The doors were wide open! I knew who it was…SILLY SAUSAGE! Silly Sausage is very silly. Yes, I know, very silly. You just can’t resist his stupid jokes. That is why I hate him, but I still laugh at his jokes! Now let’s just carry on!

My phone made vibration noises. I got it out and vigorously checked it. It said, ‘Hello Wengiecorn, or should I say loser! Come to your school now!’ I was frustrated by this text! Uggh! I quickly jumped into my backup and rode as quick as I could.

On top of the roof I saw…MY HEADTEACHER! I immediately got out my gigantic unicorn horn and said, “It’s unicorn time!” Oh no! It refused to light up!

Well, at least my dance skills will help!

I spun around as fast as I could, but the speediness made me very dizzy. I saw that it didn’t really help so I did the splits in the air. As I did, my long legs stretched out to kick Silly Sausage right in the face! It was dead FUNNY!

Ayrell Iskandar One morning, Spider Finger was relaxing in the house when a strange sound came. Spider Finger went outside, and a blast erupted in front of his home.

Spider Finger is aware and asks, “Where am I?” The Nurse replies, “You're aware. You're in the hospital.” Spider Finger says, “I'm not in a good mood, Doctor. If there was an explosion, you would faint.”

Spider Finger's back burner says, “Welcome. Let me go first.”

Aimee Ravenscroft FLEXIEY! The greatest superhero of all time was under the wonderful Mersey Tunnel, alone, in the darkness. A familiar noise occurred; she received an interrupting phone call. The phone read ‘No Caller ID.’ Straight away, she answered the call. She shouted so loud the whole world could hear, “WHO ARE YOU?” A voice answered, “Meet me at Leyfield and I will tell you.”

Flexiey buttoned up as fast as she could. Using her powers, she lifted the cars aloft so she could run underneath them without being hurt. “Oh, no security,” she murmured. She asked the driver of a car if they could take her to Leyfield. The person was very kind and agreed.

When they got to Leyfield, Flexiey saw…Miss Harrison tied to a Bobby Tree!

Flexiey shouted, “I’ll save you, Miss Harrison!” Suddenly, Flexiey heard someone say, “Cut.” She looked over and Miss Harrison said, “I’m in a movie.”

Annie Ryan Lavia woke up to a tree shouting, “Bookworm! Bookworm!” He was obviously out of breath. “Bookworm in the Mersey Tunnel!” Lavia broke out of his human form to turn into a molten rock creature. He hopped onto his hoverboard and flew away.

In an instant, he was at the Mersey Tunnel. A tiny bookworm was eating a piece of sandpaper. Lavia crept up behind it and…SMASH! Unfortunately, the bookworm knew kung-fu! He jumped out of the way and squirmed off.

Lavia had fallen asleep so the bookworm got away!

Samuel Ainsworth One day, Colour Man received a secret letter. The letter said that someone had been called a racist name. He came up with a solution. His solution was to follow the villain to his secret location.

When Colour Man arrived, he saw the park had been destroyed. All the trees had collapsed and there was litter everywhere! He thought to himself, I need to do something about it. But, because of his partial memory loss, he couldn’t remember where his letter was.

He searched through the park and he was dazed.

Sana Jamadar “Oof, that was bad,” Cuty said. “Hi, I’m Cuty! You’re finally here! I’ve been wai…” *Knock knock* “Huh? I wonder who that could be?”

“Ello! I’ve got a lette’ for ye.”

“Uh oh…thanks, bye!”

Cuty had received a strange letter and it read, ‘Hello there. Meet me at the top of the Radio City Tower tomorrow at 3am exactly! Be there or else!

From __________ Return Address ___________ Signed ___________’ It had scribbles everywhere but no name. He or she hadn’t put a name, return address, or a signature. Cuty wondered where it could have come from but then thought, meh, it’s nothing, I’ll just go.

The next day…

“So, I am ready to go in an hour and I co…” *Falls asleep for 1 hour* “It’s “It 3am! Oh no! I better use my trusty old transporter!” *Poof*
